Sparky,
Here is my 3rd response to your question when you said
"I have a question that nobody seems to ever answer.
Why, if he's such a winner, should losing to a good team like the Patriots mean nothing and only beating average to below average team give him the title of a great, winning, quarterback?"
Here are 7 out of the 8 top passers in the NFL right now (excluding Aaron Rodgers).
What does it mean when Eli Manning lost to the 49ers, saints, and Green Bay?
What does it mean when Ben Roethlisbergerlost to the Ravens and Houston?
What does it mean when Tony Romo lost to the Jets, Detroit and the Patriots?
What does it mean when Tom Brady lost to the Steelers and the Giants?
What does it mean when Drew Brees lost to Green Bay?
What does it mean when Cam Newton lost to Green Bay, New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit?
What does it mean when Matthew Stafford lost to the 49ers, Atlanta, Green Bay and to New Orleans?
IT MEANS VIRTUALLY NOTHING
1. Because as I have said previously, very few teams have beat the top 6 teams that you want Tebow to beat.
2. Because 7 of the top 8 QB's in this league have trouble or lost to the top 6 teams in the league, that you want Tebow to beat.
3. This is a team game and Tebow can't beat these top teams, by himself. Could he beat them single handedly? Yes. It has been done before, but most likely it will take a team effort to do it.
As a matter of fact those teams are 64-20 combined, which proves that IF Tebow was to lose to any one of them that he would simply join the majority of other QB's that can't beat these top teams either.
