I liked Hou -3 to -3.5 but the big jump left the backdoor wide open. I like the Texans with Schaub and they had great chemistry - just don't know if any of that will change with M. Lienart behind the helm. Asking Lienart to come in and win by more than 7pts on the road in a division game is tough...this guy hadn't seen live game speed for the last few yrs - and practicing with a bye wk to prepare for this game does not provide alot of stock for me....just saying.

The line moved 3 FULL points in a matter of hours. Know what you are talking about.

I don't think this line is jumping because AJ is playing....there's been preliminary talked in Houston that AJ could of play last game but Kubiak held him out and gave him more time. The books knew that AJ will be playing when they chalk Hou at -3 to -3.5 to earlier this week.
Only guess is...there's alot of late week $$$ that came in on Hou and I have no idea if it's sharps, squares or xmas $$$$....could be all of the above imo......

News from yesterday...insiders probably knew about Cox on Thursday afternoon (when the line changed)...
The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to play the rest of the season with several backups on defense, and things could get worse.
The Jaguars placed cornerback Derek Cox on injured reserve Friday with a knee injury, the third defensive starter lost in the last two weeks.
Linebacker Clint Session was placed on injured reserve Tuesday following a second concussion this season. The team also lost cornerback Rashean Mathis to a season-ending knee injury nearly two weeks ago.
Making matters worse, defensive linemen Terrance Knighton and Matt Roth have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Houston. Aaron Kampman also is questionable because of a hamstring injury. Knighton said Friday he is waiting to hear from doctors whether he will play again this season.
“With some of the guys that we’re going to play, we’ll find out how well we’ve done in developing some of these guys, how much attention they’ve been paying,” coach Jack Del Rio said. “It is a healthy process to have, where guys understand that they can get that opportunity with hard work and commitment to the team. You hate to have this many guys (injured), but that is the way we approach it as coaches.”
Backup cornerbacks Will Middleton and Ashton Youboty, who was signed off the street 10 days ago, are expected to start against the Texans.
The Jaguars (3-7) now have 17 players on IR. Most of the early ones were backups. Recently, it’s all been starters. Knighton and Kampman could be next, especially if Jacksonville officially gets eliminated from the postseason race.

not true, Choi... they might have considered him a possibility to play, but this line was created before it was established that he would definitely be playing...

I am in Houston and AJ been wanting to play bad...it's all over the news and he been wanting to play before the bye week. He said he's ready but coaches are taking precaution cause the running game been doing so well. Kubiak wanted AJ to come back in this game so the books already knew the injury report before they set the line. Just passing what I saw.......
