I don't understand this: Carolina only 4 pts favorite? HELP

I don't bet NFL much or follow it as much now as past years but I find this line Carolina-4-112 vs NY Giants very fishy or too good to be true, is this a trap if I take Carolina-4 since I believe the line earlier in the week was Carolina-5.5, maybe Vegas is playing mind games daring everyone to bet Carolina-4.  Everyone who know a little about NFL knows Carolina is only undefeated team left is gunning hard to keep streak alive this week.  Please help me with this all the successful NFL cappers on here what the play should be in this game?

If you don't bet NFL or follow much anymore, then why jump in on a game that you think seems fishy to begin with? Just wondering. 
Save your money until you have 100% confidence like in playoffs there are very good spot plays...

this is another car vs NO game…but definitely go over. giants will play super hard, but not for carolina cuz they don't want their good players to get hurt for playoffs. but carolina can easily score also..cam is a beast

I find this line looks really good and I really wanted to bet Carolina-4 but needed advice on it, never hurts to get 2nd opinion from successful cappers here.

My gut tells me Carolina.... But history with NYG tells me to take them.  PASS for me. 

Will have NYG in a tease with Pittsburgh.  NYG +11  ..  Pitt. -1/2

Carolina has nothing left to play for. They have bye and 1st place locked up. NYG are known to play up to big games like this. It's going to be a cold and windy day in NY not sunny Carolina.

Won with the GMen plus points against Pats earlier this season and I fully expect to cash in again with the GMen tomorrow. Caro rolls into this matchup following a 38-0 drubbing of the Artist formerly known as the Falcons last week. But let’s not forget just 2 weeks ago Caro needed a 4thQ comeback to get past a middle of the road at best Aints by just 3 points. Things won’t be much easier tomorrow as GMen have a lot to play for as they battle it out for the NFC East title, even if that distinction does lack a little prestige this year. GMen snapped a three-game skid with a come-from-behind win in Miami on Monday night and realizes the importance of getting this win with a trip to Minn on deck. 
I’ll grab points but wouldn’t be shocked by an outright victory.

I find it kind of funny when people say Carolina has nothing left to play for.  How about history?  Not many teams have an opportunity to go undefeated.  Trust Carolina wants to win.  I'm not saying they are going to win but they will NOT be resting ANY of their players fearing injury.

Everyone knows how difficult it is to go undefeated in the NFL.  To be honest this is Carolina's last real test IMO so I think people are wishing or hoping this is the game they get beat.  The Giants have played good teams tough and had a history of knocking off stronger opponents.  I will be staying away from this game unless I decide to play the over.

AZ is at 11-2 they can take home field advantage away from CAR.

I came here to hear advices so I could make up my mind on which team to bet on, I already believe that NY Giants has what it takes to surprise and cover ATS getting 4 pts but hearing stupid comments like Carolina has nothing to play for is ridiculous, I don't follow and watch NFL as closely this season as the past and am mainly concentrating on NBA betting.  I'm interested in this game cause of what I heard in Vegas but wanted to hear from successful cappers here so I could make up my mind and it turns out I have a few idiots telling me Carolina has nothing to play for, sure NY Giants could end up covering getting 4 pts but reasons I hear from some people are retarded.
I will most likely decide and make my bets but there's a chance I lay off altogether on this game.  Let's hear my opinions and infos that isn't retarded or useless.

Honestly, I like the Giants.  They get up for big games, but the people who blindly back them in big games are the same people who back Dallas... Just because they have a massive market, and a historic name, does not make them a good pick.  This is not the game that Gmen when outright.  But will probably be close to the spread.

First off, I'm a firm believer in trap lines.

With that said, Carolina has had SEVERAL "trap" lines this year and all they continue to do is maul through their opposition.  So my question is, why bet this game?

There are many other games that have a better value, do you really want to go against arguably the hottest team in the league because of a shady line?  If anything, I say if you think the line is shady, STAY AWAY instead of trying to be sharp and betting the other way.

I think this is great advice:  Anyone can find reasons to make a bet, that's easy and there always will be a reason.  Instead, you should find reasons to NOT make a bet and go from there.
