No. Purdy is the greatest and they want to give him the MVP do bad they can taste it. He stopped might win it after they blowout Washington 

You could probably make the case that he's the best running qb of all time. He looks to be better than Vick and Cunningham when it comes to scrambling and rushing. Steve Young was also very good in this category. But without checking the #'s I'd say that Lamar leads in all running stats.

You have to give him credit for his escape ability in avoiding sacks as well. He's also looking down field a lot when doing so.

He's come a long way as passer since coming into the league 6 years ago. And his resume isn't close to being full yet.

I guess Lamar plays defense and got the 5 INT’s yesterday and all the short fields.  For the greatest player ever to only average 223 yards passing game in a passing league is laughable. I dont think he will be able to run the same way in 2-3 years. Age waits for no one with declining athleticism. His window is very short. Once his running goes. He become a Tyrod Taylor. Lamar won’t be playing in his mid 30’s if he can’t be a pocket passer.

I will say this…. Not to discredit anyone who has also watched a lot of football in their lifetime…. I have the same amount of confidence when Lamar leaves the pocket and rolls out to make the right decision…. I am as comfortable in that scenario as I would be with Brady or Peyton manning in their primes inside the pocket. When Lamar leaves the pocket it’s over for you. And what’s amazing is that he is also pretty damn good from the pocket as well. But his decision making is IMHO Brady and Peyton like in their primes. That’s the confidence level I have with Lamar making decisions.  It’s not bias because it’s just a similar feeling I had to those guys. The play will be made. 

It’s his cerebral ability honestly. His decision making has been elite elite elite. Very cerebral QUARTERBACK 

And the prototype NOW is the Steve young type QB.  That was the oddity back in the day.. most people watching just haven’t adjusted. Or they refuse to adjust because it contradicts everything they think they know about the QB position.

 You have your opinion and opinions are subjective so don't say things like we can't adjust to today's QB position and shit like that. A lot of us know football very well and what I see of Jackson is very inconsistent since he has been in the league. Accuracy is his main problem and his decision making is NOT close to Brady or Manning. He is NOT in the HOF if his career ended now so he has a lot to prove to be in the conversation for top 10 QB let alone GREATEST FOOTBALL player of ALL-TIME. And that's my opinion.

Lamar is one of the best athletes ever for sure.  And imo will get atleast 2 super bowls starting with this year….
