Man you guys are harsh......."you should not be betting football". "You don't know football."
I am just making an argument. I have been on the Giants all through out the playoffs and I may still be on them. I am trying to convince myself to bet the Pats. I placed a futures bet on the Pats at the beginning of the year 6.5-1. My dilema is to go all in on the Pats or hedge it for guaranteed money with the Giants, with a chance of hitting both if NE wins but does not cover. Either way, this game should be a 3-4 point game. I think the winning score will fall somewher around 28/31 to 24/28, with either team winning.

NE ranks 31st in Pass D and 17th in Rush D, but they are +17 in T/A. NE has allowed 342 Points this year, ranked 15th.
NY ranks 29th in Pass D and 19th in Rush D, they are +7 in T/A. NY has allowed 400 Points this year, ranked 25th.
I guess the question is, who has a better pass O?
NE ranks #2 in Pass O and #20 in Rush O. NE has scored 513pts.
NY ranks #5 in Pass O and #32 in Rush O. NY has scored 394pts.
I find it interesting that there is so much talk about how bad NE's Defense is, when NY's is equally as bad. The more I look at these stats, I believe NE is going to try and run the ball. I can see the Firm getting a ton of touches and even Hernandez getting some touches to open up the rushing game. In fact I like Hernandez as a darkhorse MVP. He could easily have a rushing TD and a reception TD. There is also alot of talk on Gronk's injury, but no one is talking about Bradshaws stress fracture in his foot.
The only lopsided stats I see are NE rushing O vs. NY rushing D. NE +17 in T/A and NY +7 in T/A. The pass O & pass D matchup is pretty equal. The other one that would stand out is strength of schedule, which is lopsided in NY favor.
The more I look at the more I like the under and the Pats -2.5, but not ready to jump just yet.
This game looks set up to have 35 -38 pts at half time, Indoors these team click up with giants speed and Pats quick hitting 3 second offense...I dont know how "barring injury" how this game dont see 55
