"Remember they gave up 3 1st rd picks for Trey Lance, 2021, 2022 and 2023 to the Dolphins."

This might be the worst trade in history, next to the Vikings giving up the farm for Herschel Walker.

This dude had every opportunity to show why he should be the Niners starting quarterback with Purdy not fully 100% and struggling against the Raiders in joint practices. And he seems content to remain a backup smh

Seriously though, Mac Jones doesn't fit Kyle Shannahan's offense. He fits the Erhardt-Perkins based Patriot offense perfectly.

Yea that was dumb. Not exactly Mike Ditka's best moment. They also traded 2 of their first 3 picks the following year.

According to Shanahan, it was all three boneheads but I bet there was one supposed genius who pushed it the most.

One of the homeless guys who repeatedly defecates on the sidewalks of San Francisco could have made a better choice in the draft that year than the "brain trust" of Niners' central. Now Nick Bosa might not be signed in time to start the regular season. The Niners are about to get a reality check in game 1 from the team with the better D, the Pittsburgh Steelers. an_lightening
