JAX +19.5 short write up

Last year week 8 I think JAX already the wrost team in the league. got +15 vs @Packers. they covered without M-J Drew. I think it's gonna be the same story IMO no team in NFL should be getting more than +13.5

SEA is coming off from big blow out win vs SF this should be some "let down" factor.

Taking JAX +19.5

19.5 points is simply too much to give any NFL team.

That is a lot of points, but I think it's justified. It's hard to imagine JAX getting anything more than maybe 10 points, and Seattle just put up 29 against a good SF defence. I think Seattle covers, but that's just too many points for me to bet on it. Good luck to you

it's at 19 now...should be around 18.5 or 18.0 by game time.

24 pts in 2ndH.... That's amazing.... 
Thing is, they might jump on the Jax early then coasting in the 2ndH and allow a backdoor cover.... I dont think Sea will score much in the 2ndH

really? cause jags scored 2 pts the 1st game on a lucky safety and nothing the rest of the game and had 3 til the 4th on sunday when they scored a late td. Sea can easily get defensive tds on sunday. i Wanna see How Henne completes any passes to shorts with sherman on him sunday

jags covered all three double digits last year. seahawks have texans on deck. jags is a 4 bet for me!

That was a jags team that had Drew Lewis and Blackmon. This team has nothing at all on offense. Seahawks can win 27-3 without even trying

49er offense was COMPLETELY shut down by the Seawhawks defense. What makes you think JAXs can hold on and cover when SF was blown out by 19 points?

you're assuming seahawks will come out with the same intensity and preparedness as they did with the niners, a hated rival. they might, but they might not. 19 points is a lot of lay on any NFL team. whenever we see such spreads we immediately think total domination. however, past results indicate otherwise. perhaps the favorite eases off, perhaps the favorite is looking ahead, perhaps the dog feels insulted, perhaps. anyway, 19 is a lot to give. this is the NFL and the jags have a great chance to cover, and even a somewhat viable (although small) chance to win SU. any given sunday.

all those Historic lines are a bunch of hype machine NEW ENGLAND games. seattle covers easily. might score 14 just off their defense

It takes a lot of balls to take the points in this game.  I don't think Seattle will cover but if they do it's going to be 51-0.  Don't know if I want my money on the line when we find out.

lol the NFC champ Niners couldn't cover +19 @ Seattle and now the worst team in the NFL is gonna go in there and get the job done, this one is starting to get that public-underdog stench on it and I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks coast to a 30-6 victory here, JAX could easily cover catching so many points, couldn't blame anyone for taking Jags but it just doesn't strike me as good spot to make a serious  move on either team, too much in the air, JAX has serious offensive issues, do you really want to bet on a team that could get shut out? Is there even a remote possibility Jax can cover without scoring? thats what you have to ask yourself if you are betting Jags

Pete Carroll will be jerking off thinking hes in college again.  With the crowd, Carroll, Sherman, etc, I expect no mercy.

Look what they did to teams last year?  They dont care about playing nice.

This will be like feeding Christians to the Lions.

STILL, a backdoor cover could be in effect once Carroll puts his starters 3rd Q.

Will be fun to watch though....like Faces of Death.

I like the play. Classic letdown/ sandwich spot. Not only is seattle off the big game vs San fran, but they also have houston on deck. GL

Those are all very valid points. There is definitely the chance they go up by 21 early, and then take the foot off the gas a little. This is exactly why I'm staying away: too many points and too many questions.

Gl guys but this will be a continuation of what Seahawks did end of season. Jags not scoring more then 6 and Seahawks bit scoring lesl than 35 (def alone scores 14)
