sounds illegal. this guy will prob get an mvp sooner than later and if jackson can get 2 then barring injury how could a laser/cannon armed qb who is smarter and just as fast not get 2 or more. yea I know its early but what we saw at lsu is rearing it's head early in the nfl also. daniels didn't complete 91% like he did against the bengals today he had to settle for 87%, chuckle. next week they get the browns at home but after that he'll be travelling to baltimore to face said jackson what a game that should be.

Need him to play 2 full seasons to know if he is for real... so far so good Good luck to the Redskin ... their fans have suffered a long time with so many bad choices and bad luck at the QB position.
I needed about 3 weeks, he is for real

The vast majority of quarterbacks who play pretty well as rookies tend to regress in their second seasons.
The last 10 quarterbacks, in fact, who put up top-20 per-game numbers as rookie all came back and finished with worst numbers the next year. Baker Mayfield most recently. A year ago at this time, he looked like a sure top-10 quarterback – maybe top-5 – but he sputtered through a forgettable second season.
I have seen so many times the 2nd year QBs regressed and disappear altogether ... Does Robert Griffin III rings a bell?

Why do you think that is? The regression in second seasons. Very curious

He has looked very mediocre all year. Played well last week, so lets see if he can do it again. The thing is over the entire season when you look at Stroud compared to last season, he took a major dip. Now is that on him? Is it on the coordinator? Sophomore slump? Next year will tell us more.
Regarding Daniels, I'm not a hater. Its just its been 1 season. Teams really didn't have video on him at the Pro level. Lets see how the next 2 seasons go prior to putting him in the "greatness" category.
Prior to Week 18, Darnold was having a great season. That changed quick.

I worry that his skinny frame will not hold up a la RG3, Lamar Jackson has the body to take the punishment.
I remember RG3 rookie season, ledthe Redskins to the division winner, but the fateful Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas, he outplays Tony Romo, threw 4 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter to break the game open, but he took a massive hit from Demarcus Ware of Dallas and hit his helmet so hard on the turf that it bounced. He was never the same.
Really love his game though

I disagree with shroud being mediocre all year they wouldnt be in the playoffs if that was the case. with daniels its always the same song from detractors, it's always I need to see more. lol and you saying you need to see 2 more years after this, I bet you didn't say that about your boy burrow nope Im sure after 1 year you said he's arrived. I know daniels is a rookie, but with some guys you can see the talent they may have down periods, but overall barring injury they should prevail. some are saying daniels may be having the best season for a rookie qb ever. I don't know if that's true, but he does hold the highest completion percentage in nfl history for a rookie qb that's a great accomplishment. I wonder if you're a little salty because daniels, in only his 3rd professional game went up to cincinnati and beat burrow and company completing 92% of his passes.

3. Yes Stroud had a drop down this year. More games played. More passing attempts. Less passing yards. Less TDs thrown More Ints thrown. Lower passer rating. Lower completion rate.
4. they are in the playoffs because they are in the worst division in football.
5. You are more than welcomed to crown someone after year 1. Everyone loved RG3 as well after year 1. I would rather have a couple years of data and results.

1. When did I say I was a cincy fan?
2. When did I pump up Burrow after his 1st year?

Really? The Cowboys ended his career? You must have been out of the country counting runs as points when Haloti Ngata of the Ravens hit him in the leg in a scramble and his career was over after that.
