Between the terrible playcalling and bad overall job coaching by Sean Mcdermott, Allen is on a downward trajectory. How the Bills could ever let Brian Dabol walk is beyond me. Dabol single-handily turned Allen into a top 3 quarterback on his way to a storied Hall of Fame career. If not for McDermott’s terrible decision not to squib kick it to the Chiefs in the AFC championship game, the Bills might have won a Superbowl already. McDermott should have been fired for that horrible decision alone, and Dabol should have been elevated to head coach. It's been downhill since.

I agree Allen played a terrible game tonight, but the playcalling is horrendous. He took a lot of unnecessary hits running the ball, refusing to slide or go out of bounds. Where is McDermott to coach the stupidity out of him?

Its such a silly throw. Almost unbelievable. No reason at all for that attempt. At this point in the league with his experience..yikes. Makes ya wonder

Also there are rumors that JA doesn't put in the time in preparation and relies on his talent to win the day. That his teammates know this and resent him for it (see Stefon Diggs).
Daboll's departure has had a bad affect on the Bills' offense. Just not as fluid and Allen is more of a loose canon.
That loss to KC in the playoffs a few years back was brutal. I am convinced the window has closed on the Bills.
Viva Cristo Rey!!!

No dominant run game to balance the offense they should have picked up a better RB.. Diggs will save there season until he can’t.. the beginning of there schedule isn’t too bad they should still squeak into the playoffs.. it is also a divisional game with the Jets being better and getting a lot stronger over the seasons on both sides of the ball..
Winning isn’t everything.. It’s the Only thing.

That's alarming to hear. Allen looked like he was working hard when Daboll was in charge of the offense or at least appeared to be elevating his game to the next level. I agree that the Superbowl window has closed on the Bills.

JA is too much of a "gun slinger," taking way too many unnecessary risks. Tonight was a prime example of that. And His "high risk, high reward " style of play makes it tricky to bet either on him,... or against him. Unpredictability isn't something we bettors like to see.
