1) Potentially inflated defensive numbers of the 49ers:
-They've played poor QBs all year. The two good ones: Mahomes, torched em Herbert, kept under control
They only had 44 sacks. Yea I know, that's it. Is Nick Bosa the only one getting pressure? Cowboys only got sacked 27 times all year. I think they're gonna handle the pressure.
When you watch the niners play, they're fast, an nasty - it looks great. I just wonder how it will look against a decent or good opponent- with an oline that can pass block (check out the Chiefs game box score).
2) Brock Purdy aint seen a pass rush like the Cowboys.
-Purdy hasn't taken a lot of sacks since he took over. I'm not taking anything away from the guy, he's done very well- much more then expected. He just hasn't played anyone, have the Niners?
___
I'm leaning Cowboys.
I don't care its on the road.
I don't care its on grass.
I do care its a 'nasty d' against a powder puff schedule, an a rookie QB who was drafted late, for a reason.

Two things jump out-

Says they played poor qbs all year, yet backs the team that just was torched by Sam Howell and barely escaped the Davis mills lead Texans. No Jason peters, the niners pass rush will eat, especially dpoy and sack leader nick bosa

And sacks isn’t the only thing that makes a defense great. The niners dline and linebackers are incredibly good. Having the nfl sack leader certainly helps tho. The secondary is very good too, but do occasionally give up big plays. Demeeco Ryans is amazing at halftime adjustments as well, check their 2nd half stats. They had a streak of 4 games with zero 2nd half points allowed. This d is number 1 in the nfl for a reason

$14 good callout... Who the fk is Sam Howell? Thurston III's grandson?
4th week in a row on the road has to be a factor. Do you really believe that the changes these 2 teams made since what shoulda been a blowout last January are significant enough to change the outcome? For openers, 49ers acquire CMC and Cowboys cut Amari Cooper. Cowboys took out the trash Monday night, once again the SB talk again like after they blew out the Vikes. Couldn't beat Philly with Minshew without significant Minshew help. Carried the Texans for 4 quarters, and lost to Howell.
I can't live with losing money on Dallas... The line is a joke all things considered.

One bad game against the Redskins does not make this a bad football team. I can imagine the Cowboys being flat for the last game of the season. They looked fast in the playoffs so far.
The zero points in the second half streak or whatever can be chalked up to beating lesser talented teams, and them going for it on 4th down all second half.
-Last year, this "blow out" or whatever everyone is calling it, was actually a close game. One thing that I remember, was the amount of pressure the Niners had on Dak. They stopped the run too. I don't think the Niners are getting the pressure like they were last year. (example, last year the Niners had 5 sacks + 14 QB hits against the Cowboys in the playoffs - last week against the Seahawks, they had 3 sacks and 2 QB hits.) They also recorded less sacks this year then last. The Cowboys have also added a first round LT - whose playing great. I know, sacks aren't everything, I just think the game is closer then everyone is making it out to be. The Cowboys are gonna score. An seriously - until Purdy does it against a fast, disciplined defence that can play against the misdirection, I'm not buying it. I'm expecting some turnovers.
Still nothing locked.
(Also, Dak ain't Mahomes, but Dak a top 8 QB, an the Niners faced two all year - the first torched them, the second played w/ his top two targets OUT).
