The Lions have no skill players left for this game. No Johnson, Bush, their 3 TE are out as is their RT. They've averaged 17.5 PPG over the last six weeks and haven't scored more than 24 since Week 1, despite facing playing 4 of their 6 games against defenses ranked 21st or worse in DVOA over that span. This offense is struggling mightly. They can't score and can run the ball a lick. They've been playing bad defenses like ATL and they still can't score on them.
Almost a must win game for ATL here. As great as the DET D-line is, I'm not sold on this secondary at all. Brees had a very good game against them and ATL has great WR. Falcons 0-line issues have been well documented. Getting a bit tiresome though. I don't expect the Lions to have a ton of motivation here. They've been finding ways to win and I sense a dangerous level of complacency, especially when they are on vacation against a 2-5 doormat. Motivation or lack thereof shows up in the D-line first and foremost.
Falcons will want this game much, much more and DET is working with spare parts.
