but OUCH! tough week for QPRHOOPS, as he got a combined 3 wins from both of his entries.... albeit he got screwed on BALTIMORE as Denver had no business covering that game but still..... terrible week to start the contest!!!

awaiting lines, thoughts, wanna bet cincy, but man rivers doesn't get enough credit. Detroit has a star in the making ,ameer, if they give him the ball. st. Louis looks to good to be true. wash needs a qb and it isn't on their roster. Miami to good to be true, not sold on philbin as coach and leaning with dallas +5. last week 3-2.

extra points are not a given anymore

colts seem to be a public fav, might be a tad overrated

QPRHoops1 1-4QPRHoops2 2-3I went a combined 3-5 last week - but lost both of my plays that were on both cards.I read all of the advice about how to play both cards, and have come full circle on it.  Since I had a bad week one, I am going to have a lot of duplications this week.  I am not in this thing just to do well - or like last year - come in 78th place.  To me - 51st through 1700th is the same thing.So these are my picks for my two cards this week.  4 of the 5 are duplicates.  It is go big or go home in week 2 for me.I will be betting all 6 of these games that make up my 2 cards.  Also leaned towards Lions, Redskins, Cowboys, and Seahawks - but didnt make the cut.GL all.  Congrats to those with a good week last week.  It is not the type of week I will ever do well with - when 9 out of 10 of the consensus plays win - I am in trouble.QPRHoops11.  Chiefs -314. You admit that you received my msg&#x27;s yet dont even have the common courtesy to REPLY to a single 1 of them and decide you would rather be egocentric and post all about yourself, QPRHoops? Van, you are obviously a very good capper, based on your results. I am just curious how you are able to make your picks for the week so quickly :-) ... for me, I like to wait until I get much more info and see how the lines change etc etc ... would love your insight.

Well - for this contest - when you have a Thurs game, you have to get all of your picks in before that game.  And with the proxy I use, you have to get them to him before 9am on Thurs if you include the Thurs game.So for this week - I knew I had the Chiefs - and therefore had to hustle on the rest of the picks.But to be fair....  I have a numbers system and a "gut" system that I can do quickly.  My numbers algorithm is set by Tuesday and gives me numbers.  My gut can change over a week - but generally - I trust my first instincts.  So i often come up with my combined number early in the week.Obviously - with things like injuries and news that changes over the course of the week - I adjust my real money betting accordingly (or buy and sell accordingly).  But my reads on Wed morning are pretty darn close to what I actually end up having positions on on Sunday.One note....  Line changes in the real world over the course of the week have zero effect on my number (the combined stats &#x2B; gut line I come up with).  However - it does make a difference in what I wager on with real money.  So the fact that the Supercontest lines are published on Wed, and they do not ever change - means unless there is a change on my side of the number, that my Wed plays should be exactly the same as my Sunday plays.  This is different to the real world where the lines can move up and down until kickoff.I dont disparage anyone who does it differently.  Just what works for me.
