Most over-rated HC in the history of the NFL. This dude hasn't won a playoff game since 2016, and I don't care who they play they're one and done. This guy's an idiot not playing Fields, Russell is a joke, had a couple of lucky games. Of course, the Rooney's can't fire him because they invented the Rooney Rule. I feel bad for Pittsburgh fans all these years.

What you are doing is cosigning Tomlin's incompetence in post season play. Have at it but don't expect me to believe you. Marty Schottenheimer and Andy Reid were successful in the regular season but also fired for not delivering in the playoffs.

No other coach in the NFL has gone 8 years without a playoff win and still have a job with their team.. NO BEN... NO MIKE.. Coaching tree is a dead shrub.. Clock management is poor.. The worst coach in the NFL on challenges.. Once went a whole year without winning one.. Great with the quips.. Poor in game changes... Example after Kelcie killed them with a year high in receptions he called him a "zone killer" in his after game presser... But yet stayed the whole game in a two deep zone never changing it... NO BEN...NO MIKE....

@Buffalobob89074 Agree this is unacceptable! But the problem is who do you replace him with? Most of these nfl coaches are horrible! Week in week out making horrible descisions
How about Brian Flores or Jon Gruden??? I do agree that most NFL head coaches are clueless.

Ben Johnson... We trade TJ to get a high draft choice to get a QB and we rebuild for a couple of years..

If you can't get in the playoffs or lose 1st round games, who gives a rat ass about regular win & loss records. I'm a Steeler season ticker holder since Chuck Noll days. Ask any true Steeler fan if they give a crap about regular season win and loss totals in his carrier.

Chase Brown it seems has a high ankle sprain so I doubt he plays on Saturday. RT Mims also suffered an injury. Gotta believe Tomlin leans on Najee and Warren vs that Swiss cheese defense. Steelers offense has been bad the last month, but has been much better with Pickens in. Burrow is on a heater though, but the defense is sooooo bad.

Bum Phillips was another successful regular season coach who had the misfortune of having a great team during the Steeler dynasty in the 1970s. He was fired in 1980 after losing in the playoffs to the Raiders, this after some great regular seasons.
Marty Schottenheimer was fired after losing to the Patriots in the playoffs despite having a regular season record of 14-2 with the Chargers. The NFL is a business or it used to be and the only standard is success in the post season. “Winning isn’t everything, but it’s the only thing. He said he "hasn't considered it." If Steelers sit starters and lose to Cincinnati while Chargers win vs Raiders, Pittsburgh drops to 6th seed and will play Ravens first round of playoffs instead of Texans (assuming Ravens beat Cleveland next week). While it's true Lamar has done very poorly against Steelers in the past (except most recent meeting), wouldn't Steelers rather play Texans first round? Plus the Steelers offense has been garbage since Pickens missed several games with injury and it still looked terrible vs KC with him back.
Teams in real life whether NFL or Lehigh County Kickball don't think that way, they play who's in front of them.
If he feels a rest week better suits his team to show up against whoever, good on him.

There has to be some acknowledgment for never finishing a season under .500 in 18 years. At the very least, don't call this man "the most over rated coach in nfl history" I surmise that there are plenty teams who are in coaching hell, year after year, that would like to have a Tomlin around.
John Harbaugh says hold my beer while I lose the biggest games to inferior teams and show a baffling lack of awareness.
