I will tell you exactly how this is gonna go down. Ravens will cover that number, maybe eve win that game outright. Zona wins handily and sends Philly packing. You should definitely play the money line on the Cards and take the Ravens and the points. Chucky had ordained it to be true so it must be true. To see why check out www.chuckychill.blogspot.com

how did you come up with that conclusion? those two picks are contradicted by your results... gamblers would suggest taking Philly/Pitt... non-gamblers would suggest taking Ariz/Balt... how do you come up with Ariz/Pitt?
a conclusion isn't always supported by the sample. there are other variables like i mentioned.

fading the gamblers is a good thing in my opinion of those sampled. Gamblers are choosing PHILLLY. I myself will be taking ZONA and this sums it up. I am fading my findings here. Now, with PITT, I am fading non-gamblers and going with gamblers. the general public is wrong a lot more than they are right, but the sample collected that picks ZONA I agree with b/c I know this sample well. I believe the pubic in general is going to select one of the winners and this sample shows PITT as being that one.

for some reason it didn't show up. lets try this again....
Teams that knock off the defending Super Bowl Champs in the playoffs have gone on to post a perfect mark of 0-10 SU and 1-9 ATS in their next same season playoff game.

3rd, I will agree with all of our posts with one exception. The Bidwill Curse. It has been non-existent this year and it is only a matter of time for it to show up. I have lived in AZ for the last 25 years and have watched this team disintegrate SO many times, it hurts. We have actually had better teams than the one on the field now!
This table is set PERFECTLY for the Cardinals. Home field advantage in a revenge game. Since Pittsburgh will throttle the Ravens, it sets up even better with the fact that the Cards coaching staff has some ex-Steelers coaches that even after two years are going to have some relatedness to that team.
Having said all that, I am going to hide and watch this team screw the pooch. Besides, McNabb has been here more times than Warner, even tho he did win one of the two S-bowls he went to...McNabb knows this is his last shot at winning the big one, (which won't matter 'cause I don't see them getting past Pitt, but stranger things have happened!)...
So, all you PA peeps, when its just you in the big game, do us a favor and don't make headline news by burnin down your state!

Well lets see--this time last week Cards had NO chance in hell going to Panther country. And the week before MattyIce was gonna eat 'em up. OK this weeks newsflash: Westbrook or no Westbrook, Boldin or no Boldin, there is no way Eagles can match points with these guys in Arizona. And don't bother to tell me Eagles already beat them there, yea when AZ had already clinched and it didnt matter. Look at both teams "TOTALS" and do you really think this to be anything but an "OVER" game..just no way Philly matches points.
And BRASS-STONES your theory of fading "gamblers"vs"nongamblers" may be one of dumbest statements Ive ever read. What the FK are non-gamblers in ur book? Who the FK are the gamblers? R U talkin wise guys vs public? Who r u saying was on CARO last week..gamblers or non-gamblers

Over the years, Ive come to appreciate both an intelligent and well written thread.
I agree with your opening statement 100%, "Im going to back the two teams that went out and won their games." (paraphrase)
Arizona went into arguably the "hottest" team's backyard (going into the postseason) and kicked their teeth in. They also beat a damn solid and balanced Atlanta team. And now theyre dogs because of both public perception and "the Eagles are destined" bullshit??!! Heck, Ive seen two much better Philly teams not advance to Super Bowl this decade. Im not making 'Zona out to be World-beaters, but you can bet your ass the 2009 Cards are a better football team than the 2009 Eagles. Case Closed. Esp on a warm, dry field in Arizona on a Sunday afternoon.
As for the Pitt vs Baltimore game, I gotta give it up to Big Ray and Ed reed. Theyve played with both passion and conviction this postseason. But I feel they run out of gas this Sunday. I will not proclaim a Pittsburgh blowout, like others, but I will say Pitt controls game and covers as long as 2 key things do not happen: (1) Pittsburgh beats themselves and "gives" Baltimore chance after chance. A'la OU vs Florida in NCAA Championship Game & Tennessee Titans in past game and (2) Lady Luck doesnt beat them. Not to be confused with #1. Football is truly a game of inches and a game of right and wrong bounces sometimes, as well. It doesnt take much in a game of this magnitude to "turn the tide" or "flip the mo." Just ask OU about being stopped inside the 3 yd line 3x with an NFL-sized Offensive Line. Or ask Bradford about two balls "bouncing wrong" and costing your team a game.
Good luck #3rd and Long! Very well thought and written post!

***Footnote: Im not suggesting OU was better or worse than Florida, or that 1,2, or even 3 plays cost OU the game. What I am saying though, is "lady luck" can alter if not single-handedly decide a game.

This is the playoffs guys, as I'm sure you all know. The one thing about being this far is that home field means almost nothing if a veteran team is on the road. The road team is more locked in, no family, no friends, just thier brothers on the side lines. You think Philly gives a hoot about playing on the road in great weather? This is thier shot, probably last shot at history. I'll always give credit where credit is due, and Zona deserves some cred. But I'll be more comfortable taking the team with more experience, a better all around QB, RB and Coach, and the team with the WAY better DDDDDDDEEEEEEFENSE. Just like I'm taking Pitt, I feel more comfortable with my money on Philly, tho I wish I wasn't a gambeling degenerate (cause I would just lay off this game in any other situation). I don't want ot kick my own A$$ for not taking the better team.
GL TO ALL WITH WHATEVER ADVENTURE YOU TAKE

Nobody expects Zona to win and there's no pressure on them. The Cardinals get to continue this "Us Against the World" mentality they had going at Carolina. From a psychological standpoint, I have no idea how the Eagles are going to win this game. Yeah, i know it's not talking the Xs and O's matchup, but this crazy season, i'm more inclined to look at the "x-factors." The Eagles don't play well when they're expected to win. Conversely, they're always victorious when all the chips are down. I love the Cardinals (7-2 at home this year) to win - or at least cover. My 14-2 run on the Playoff leaderboard is counting on going against the birds from Philly. Everyone and their evil stepsister loves the Eagle, i like my chances.

What's wrong Eagles fans, got nothing to say today, huh?
Boy, that Eagles defense sure looked awesome against an offense with a pulse.
Congrats on your latest choke job, you just keep outdoing yourselves.
But hey, look on the bright side. Because you backed into the playoffs and had some "success" it looks like you are going to get at least one more season of the McNabb / Reid show. Enjoy.
