@vanzack Reverse line movement?? All the 7.5 are gone with the majority of the bets and money on KC I am having a hard time pulling the trigger on KC. I think the line is right, 7.5 seemed to be begging for Cin $ while 7 is screaming KC. Very low % of the time line actually matters so just pick the winner. KC should win so…… leaning KC and SF thanks for your write ups
I appreciate you posting.
But I am going to give you a PSA that will hopefully inspire you to think about things a little bit....
Stop looking for answers in line moves and those goofy percentages. It is the lazy gamblers fallacy. They mean nothing. Books try to predict ACTION, you are trying to predict RESULTS. They have nothing to do with each other.
If I was going to base a core belief on what you state in your post, I would want to know the following:
1. What is exactly "reverse line movement"? 2. Where do the percentages and bet information come from and how do I know it is real? 3. What is the historical statistical WL rate of these types of plays? 4. What is the criteria to reach a play that falls in to #3?
I have literally been asking this for years here. Nobody can reply. Betting percentages are the bigfoot of sports bettors.

what about over 54.5? Chiefs might win, sure, but what buffalo game showed us is KC defence sucks. they gave up at least 2 easiest TDs in a matter of minutes. So if Bengals can score at least 3 TDs, this should go over

This do not trust the numbers at all, line dropping to 7 across the board is odd when it was 7.5 all week.
Cin has been settling for FG and knows it can’t today so I see them going for it on 4th and not converting which will lead to less points for then KC 31-17 sounds about right.
KC-7
KC/Cin under 54.5

I give into Niners finally. Hate to go against these studs in LA all year, but have a feeling they get it done even with Jimmy G and his dreadful at times performances wow. If he can even sling it somewhat watch out for SF no matter who they play. If not, some hate letter fan mail coming like always
GL Van and almost World Cup time as well again...

1. Give the Bengals defensive coaches credit. The 3.5 man rush (3 man with delayed spy) was kryptonite to Mahomes for some reason. I cant even explain why. It just worked, and worked ridiculously well. A future blueprint to play the Chiefs? Not sure - but KC did not respond with any adjustments other than seemingly to tell Mahomes to twist and turn as much as he could. That was 36 minutes of scoreless - toothless - Chiefs offense.
2. The play before HT cannot be overstated
3. Amazingly similar to the game 4 weeks ago that I referenced in my writeup in terms of flow.
On to the next. Lets go Niners.

Unbelievable collapse by Chiefs. It's almost as though Reid "lit" Mahomes up for his foolish decision making before the half and demoralized him, but I doubt that occurred. Whatever the reason, Mahomes looked uncomfortable in 2nd half, even noticed him short arming a few passes in 2nd half. Terrible. Cincinnati is undeserving to play for it all. KC even less so

That's why the Bills should be sick right now, they should have been in the Super Bowl and we all know it...

Andy Reid is not a good coach. See Philadelphia. He's had ridiculous talent that got him far. This game is a microcosm of it....Chiefs win this game by double digits with a competent coach...
