High of 17 in Pittsburgh on Sunday and I don't see that helping the Jags in any fashion.

Great write up LC as always I would however caution you on the Vikes pick CK does not score a lot of points. If you look at the highlights from the last game they played you'll see a Saints team that was able to move the ball well against the Vikings D ..Bradford played in that one and as usual he looked like a hero gun slinger but that's typical Bradford in his debut game. Now both teams have improved since week 1 and I feel this will be much closer than you think I will take DB with revenge.

By the way Panthers beat the Vikings all be it at home but they put up 31 points on that stellar D. There must be some weakness some where and I'm gonna bet it's the old saying "rest equals rust " !

 

On any given day anyones defence can be exploited and exsposed but majority of games rule here and that 7-1 record at home against some fine teams is why the Vikings are where they are at Now....Their Defense Rocks!

As a game planner, what would one do against Bortles? What's the game plan? I guess for me I just can't see this guy going back into Pittsburgh and winning unless this bad boy is scripted. Yep....ok going there. In cold weather, with the front 7 the Steelers have, are the Steelers gonna play zone or get to bortles around the edges? They've had two weeks to break down every minute if film and they got to see him do nothing but run last week. On top of that, Ben looked awful against them in the regular season. Im a huge Steelers fan but when you look at this game on a neutral level, so many things point to the Steelers here. Leveon Bell is the the guy the Jags will have to stop but that won't be done with just a few guys. When those safeties come up, then what? This type game reminds me of last year when the " great unstoppable secondary" of the Giants went into Lambeau and they got blasted. Absolutely blasted. One could argue that that secondary last year was close to this jags secondary. Brown cannot be guarded by one guy; not in the slot. Bryant is a home rum threat and juju may have the biggest game of them all. Again though, can we expect 20 from the jags and bortles? Not so sure. If you are playing this by purely a spread stand point, I can see a cover by the Jags but the Steelers aren't losing this game Sunday. Sorry guys.

Just like "Nick Foles is garbage and the Eagles have NO shot against ATL", "Blake Bortles is garbage and the Jags have NO shot against PITT. Not really sure the Jags will win tomorrow but to think they have no chance of covering is laughable. LC stay hot as Fck man and let's keep cashing. Your book cut you off yet? Ha ha 

As far as N.O./Minn, I think it's foolhardy to base anything about the Saints off of the Carolina playoff game. Need we be reminded that was their 3rd meeting this year. And yet, the Saints owned that game until Carolina made a run late. The Panthers surely know a few things Minnesota will not. It is VERY difficult to beat a team 3 times in 1 year and the Saints did that.

Plus Cam Newton probably played the best game of his career accuracy wise and they still lost.

Also, while the Minnesota defense is solid, their stats got padded at the end of the season and with a soft, home friendly schedule. The Saints were the opposite with an absoluetly brutal road schedule.

Something has to be said for a battle tested team with a HOF QB. Think 2010 Packers. You'll see what that means tomorrow.

N.O. secondary has pro-bowler Marshon Lattimore and another top rookie in free safety Marcus Williams. They have 9 ints between them an the N.O. secondary has more ints than the Vikings. The other corner, Ken Crawley, is better than Trey Waynes for the Vikings. He didn't play in the team's first meeting.

The only bad part about the N.O. secondary is they are extremely young and are susceptible to communication break downs. Other than that, it is one of the best up and coming secondaries in the league. The Saints aren't top 5 in QB differential for nothing.

Wouldn't be shocked at all if Minnesota covers, but would be highly shocked if it's by double digits.

Good Luck with the Jags today. You will certainly be the all time best Covers capper if Blake Bortles can go on the road and beat a well rested Steelers team that is a no doubter top 5  in the league this year overall.

Do any of you actually follow NFC south football? That conference is the most under rated in football. They split those games and it’s very difficult to sweep. The Saints will most certainly score over 20.5 today. Even if it comes at the end. Drew Brees is King of the meaningless end of game TD. He’s done it a million times in his career. This game has backdoor all over it.
