Love the Jets and Ravens this
weekend and will be
adding the Dolphins as a play as well.
I don’t normally do this but I
switched my initial Chargers lean to a play on the Dolphins. Taking a look at
their schedule, it seems like the Chargers are finally coming back down to
earth and were a bit overrated due to the opponents they were facing.
They played the Broncos tough, but they know them very well. Prior to
the Broncos loss, the Chargers have faced Alex Smith, Derek Carr, Geno Smith,
Blake Bortles, and EJ Manuel. The Chargers are tied for last in YPC in terms of rush offense and are now facing a top 3 pass defense in an early start in the heat of Miami.
The
Chargers are also thin at corner with one starter being out, and the other
returning from a concussion (won’t be 100%). They have a bye next week, which I
think they’ll use to get healthy but for now, I have to go with
the Dolphins in this spot.
Jets +10 -120 (5x)
Jets +400 (0.5x)
Dolphins
-2 (3x)
Ravens -1(5x)
Dolphins +9 / Jets +20.5 /
Ravens +10 (2.5x)
2014 NFL YTD:-12.2 Units

I'm with you on the Jets but think your off on the SD/MIA game. With 10 days to prepare and a team that travels well and is from a warm climate I don't think playing in MIA is a negative factor at all. MIA has basically no home field advantage (10-36 ATS at home). I can't see SD losing 3 in a row, They need this win to keep pace in a tough division and they have a solid coach who will have them ready for this game. I also think you can stick R. Tannenhill right there with that same group of QB's that you mentioned the chargers have faced. MIA off back to back wins, SD off back to back losses, getting points this is a good spot for SD.

I think they have a chance to win SU against KC. If they can pound the KC run D and get a lucky bounce or two, they win SU. Of course, they could get pommeled again. GL LC.

glad to see you're on the fins. Miami has the right defense to slow down rivers in that they are very effective in bringing pressure up the middle on their D line. the charger interior O line is puke is pass protection and the Miami linebackers will be effective in covering the middle of the field in that they only need a 4 man pass rush. charger run game is soft to say the least. Miami is very under the radar with their rushing attack and the charger defensive front 7 is soft vs the run. as long as tannehill limits his INT's, I see him completing key passes in this game vs a banged up charger secondary. also factor in that philbin's dad died last night and returned to the team today to prepare. I would think the fins rally around him and win this for him.

Home teams off consecutive home wins last 2 weeks have been historically bad in NFL history. Big Ben off the game of his career against a soft overrated defense will now have to face a Ravens team that knows him better than anyone.
I like the Pats but am passing due to the same reason above, pats off back to back home wins now playing at home again against arguably one of the most talented teams in NFL history. Scary that Peyton Manning now has a top 3 defense in the NFL
Hoping for a Pats win but not playing it

Weather is meant to be nasty isn't it? Manning always sucks in the cold, that overrides any other trend for me.
No Jimmy Smith for the Ravens is a BIG loss, thinking over may be the place as both secondaries are poor.
I also think it's a mistake not to play the Skins just because RG3 is back, they are going to belt the Vikes

Welp I guess I'll have to hope for a push because I'm on jets and pats both large. Not happy after seeing that stat, but I will have to hope with the 3.5
