Kinda puts things in perspective. Sometimes we all need a reminder of the things that are truly important. I love football, and handicapping is a hobby I love, but nothing compares to a relationship with God, family and close friends. Hope you and yours are able to stay safe in light of what's coming.

I have said the same thing, all I seem to remember about this year so far is a)SO MANY DAMN PENALTY FLAGS and b) dropped passes everywhere. Aaron Rogers didn't have a great game yesterday but he also got little/no help from his WR's Also fear the same for Daniels.....I hope not because he is a blast to watch
He is fun to watch but when that big boy smashed him he was feeling it and it showed. His frame is not like a Michael Vick. Michael Vick was beefier although the league wore him down also. Same with Cunningham and Steve Young. These mobile QB's just dont last.
As a Saints fan, Brees got injured scrambling in San Diego. When the guy came to New Orleans homie hardly ever left the pocket and had a fantastic career.
Oh yeah I watched Rodgers receivers drop passes. I watched Nix receiver wide open in the end zone drop a pass right through his hands.

So Sorry to hear this. Take your time and do what you have to do even if you need to be away from handicapping. That type of stuff is way more important.

You and many others have to stop using the 'bad beat' excuse when your pick loses. The fact is you we're on the wrong side. Actual bad beats are rare.

I’m with ya on that game. I was on Steelers. They were outplayed all game. I was happy to be in the position to win. But Dallas played well and deserved the win.

I always enjoy vanzack's post, but this was no where close to the ultimate bad beat, had em Boys loss that game, bad beat might have been the term used. They was moving that ball up and down all night long, that 3rd down fumble was a miracle even the football gods said no way I am letting you guys recover. It was a good old school football game last night, maybe if Pit had a better play caller or QB, they would have ran away in the game, but that offense is horrible to watch.
Good Luck to all dealing with the storm.
Stay safe everyone.

Exactly, Pit wasnt a bad beat at all. If the QB for Dallas wasnt trash, it would of been a blow out. Dude threw 3 pics and still won, yeah thats luck but goes to show you how trash fields really is. Should of left Allen in. They only scored after Fields came back and felt threatened when Allen threw some nice passes. Then once Fields felt secured again he sucked.

What do you mean, "just don't last?"
Vick 13 seasons
Young 15 seasons
Cunningham 16 seasons
