Niners will be fine and Purdy will be fine. He has been great all year and will continue. 

Tonight was one of those nights where they just could not move the ball correctly. Too many deep passes and not enough short gadget plays that they are so good at. 

Yes they are clearly overrated but still one of the top teams in the country. I am shocked that moron O’Connell put a good game plan together. Baited Purdy not once but twice. Cost me money but got to give credit where it is due. Clearly Purdy isn’t Mahomes or Brady or even Rodgers. He is an average game managing QB that plays well with a lead. He is incapable of leading your team from behind as he showed tonight. Moody kicked the one when it mattered most but Purdy with two INTs and McCaffery with a big TO and that is game. Minnesota also exposed the shit out of that SF D.  

Of course Purdy is not Rodgers. He is an above average QB that is good enough, for the 49ers, to win it all. He can lead his team but he relies on too many big plays from deebo/cmc

 Well that is the point..Everyone was waiting to see what he will do when the 49ers are down and not up and needed him to lead them back...Easy to play QB on that team with all that talent as front runners...

I mean man nothing surprises me anymore. Even Justin Fields was called elite all summer.

This season has a long way to go... I honestly would not be surprised to see the Niners still go 15-2 or 14-3... the NFL can be crazy at times.

One thing I've become certain of decades ago is home fans are the absolute worst at predicting their team's results vs the spread. And they're always convinced they have a great read on 'their' team when the reality is they don't because a) most casual fans aren't good handicappers anyway b) most good handicappers don't have allegiances and stay objective and c) all home fans by nature overreact to the last game they watched.

Jimmy just stop thinking you can predict what the 9ers will do. It's obvious you cannot. Just be a cheerleader and leave it at that. Especially considering there are a number of high bridges in the bay area.
