yeah i'll have a new thread up around 1pm...and I'll post all the 1pm games...going to need someone to take over for the 4pm and late game as I have to work. see everyone this afternoon

I,m hoping that brendan(how's your head today bud??...lol!), js4u, orion or someone else will post soon and let us know who's is taking the later games....Applause and more to Porky on yesterday's picks, plus almost an entire day of nearly 30 plays and hitting over 67 percent, I believe....Great job bud....THANK YOU!!

This one hit, good play.  But let me get this straight ... if for some reason the 2nd half line was Carolina -14, then the difference would only be 8.5 ... making this a no-play.

Therefore, we have ...

NY Giants +4 (2nd half)= PLAY

but

NY Giants +14 (2nd half) = NO PLAY?

There is something inherently wrong with this system if the above is true going by Porky's rules of play or no-play.

what is wrong? NY Giants +4 2H gives you a 18.5 point middle NY Giants +14 only gives you an 8.5 point middle. The whole idea of the system is the casinos don't want to get middled on games. Anyone who has giants +2.5 for the game can go and bet the Panthers -4 2H and they are risking 10% to win 20x times thir money as long as the giants win by 16 or less or lose by 1. Do you understand? if i have $1000 on Giants +2.5 for the game, at the half I can now bet the panthers -4 2H for a $1000 and i have all those middle numbers and if it hits i win both sides and $2000 and if it dosen't, i only lose $100 the juice on the one bet i lose. So casinos are risking too much so i believe the majority of the time it dosen't land in these middles...

Yes I understand.  Do you understand what I'm saying though?

Breaking it down into simple terms ...

NY Giants +4 = GREAT PLAY!

NY Giants +14 = BAD PLAY!

Any system where this is true is simply wrong in my book.

No one would do that.  But when evaluating a system, hypotheticals must be involved.  It's part of the scientific method.

Bottom line is that this system may tell you to avoid value at times.  Maybe there is a tweak we could add to fix this flaw?  It's a pretty glaring flaw if it tells you NY Giants +14 is a bad play.
