Ouch. I’d have pegged you for about 22-25. Not in his 60s
@royboymiami
wow i still remember that one handed catch week 3 2002 at home against the jets on the infield dirt.
finally stopped the long losing streak to the Jets and started 3-0 can't believe that team missed playoffs with leading rusher Ricky Williams and leading sack man in Jason Taylor

Another bizarre trolling, false accusation with no ground or backing.
You stalk people like crazy. Who's the nature one here? Most certainly not you obviously

John Stallworth
====================
The next year, in Super Bowl XIV, Stallworth had just one catch for four yards entering the fourth quarter. But Swann out with an injury and the trailing the Rams 19-17, Stallworth came up big and helped the Steelers win their fourth Super Bowl in six years. His balletic 73-yard touchdown catch on third and long graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, and his 45-yard catch late in the game led to Franco Harris' game-clinching touchdown. Stallworth finished with three catches for 121 yards, and one could argue that he, not Bradshaw, was the game's MVP.

Some great choices, luv the ol school guys, Alworth, Swann, Biletnikoff. Didn't see Drew Pearson mentioned and as a Dolphins fan, luved me some Paul Warfield. Namath would have likely picked the great Don Maynard.

You are correct. Staubach brought the "Hail Mary" from Navy to the NFL and specifically to Drew Pearson in 1975 in a win over the Vikes. Pearson actually made an acrobatic catch around the 5 yard line before making his way into the end zone. But the term "Hail Mary" was here to stay in the NFL.

Acrobatic? He caught it with his arms/hands down, pretty much slowing down and standing there. He could have possibly tripped, but it wasn't acrobatic

Went back and looked at Drew's catch, it was 47 years ago, maybe acrobatic not the best description but he was clearly interfered with, there was a PI flag thrown too, and he was still able to make the catch. Not as easy as it may have appeared at first glance. Still an amazing play, and the beginning of the "Hail Mary" in the NFL.

Ha,for back then you didn't see to many receptions being made where the receiver had to come back for the ball to make a catch,certainly not like it happens so often in today's games.
I don't know if I'm right or not,but maybe one of you other old timers will be able to remember the circumstances.For some reason I seem to remember the game wasn't televised nationally or something.I know that sounds crazy for a play-off game,but that's what I seem to remember.I'm pretty sure I saw the play on replay,I'm almost positive I didn't see it live.And at that time,if an NFL play-off game was on TV,I woulda been watching it.I know it was 1 of those frigid games in Minnesota,would it have been blacked out nationally if it wasn't sold out?

@MrWhatsItToYa
I feel like I saw it live. I just conferred with my best friend then and now, he's a huge Cowboys fan and we both think that. Of course, we were teenagers then and smoking weed, Soo...we could be wrong!

Ha,I was gonna blame the weed on why I probably don't remember if I saw it live.That poor weed gets the blame for everything.I can't imagine why it would of been blacked out nationally,even if it wasn't a sellout.But for some reason I've had that impression stuck in my head for (what you'd say) 47 years,I think I'm gonna have to blame that on the weed to.
