You're basing it on conspiracy/fixing theory... I'm basing it on handicapping football teams. You can follow whatever theory you want, but let's remember that the Ravens barely covered, and were 1 play away from not covering...the Seahawks covered by a country mile, and were never close to not covering!
Posting BS nonsense without any facts to back it all up.
Seahawks didnt cover the first post season game, the second game against 49ers they just barely covered with a 6 pt win and then they smacked Denver in super bowl.
Seahawks were not half as dominant as the Panthers are.

The 49ers were (based on Power Ratings) the 2nd best team in the NFL that year (the Seahawks being the best). The Broncos came into that game as the #1 offensive team, but had a very weak defense, and had played the easiest schedule in the NFL, while the Seahawks had played one of the toughest schedules. The Broncos road to the Super Bowl was paved against cupcakes, while the Seahawks played against teams that were better than anyone in the entire AFC.
The fact that they had won by 1 point or 20 points was irrelevant. Getting points against the Broncos was the gift of all gifts!
I can't help but keep pointing out that all of your bravado is backed by the fact that you thought Denver was going to pound the Seahawks in that game... and that tells me all I need to know about your handicapping skills!

He said the Ravens / 49ers was the most predictable Super Bowl of all-time, and I said Seahawks / Broncos was. Seahawks covered very easily, Ravens were 1 play away from not covering. Where am I lacking any facts to back up those statements?
We weren't talking about anything that has anything to do with this year's game...
Your posts are filled with lunacy!

Also, what part of my post was non-factual?

Im not talking about the strenghts of teams they faced, because if THATS what you wanna look at, then Panthers have had a tougher road in post season than Broncos AND they have obliviated their opponents completely, even tho the teams are tougher. So that makes no sense. But what im saying is that its 100% false to say that Seahawks covered easily and cruised the way that Panthers did. Yes Seahawks were a pretty damn good team and they had a very consistent Defense, but im just saying that the covering part is false. They didnt cover in the first round of playoffs against Saints and in the following game against 49ers we had a 1 score game for the spread. Its nowhere near the situation Panthers are in, where it would take the other team like 10-13 posessions to catchu p if we assume Panthers didnt score anymore.
And where did i say i thought they were going to pound them?

I played the QB position! I am fully aware of the importance of the position... but unlike you, I am also fully aware that no QB can win games by themselves. And especially in the NFL, no QB ever wins the Super Bowl... ever! No BAD FOOTBALL team with a great QB has ever won a Super Bowl... not once!
It is a pathetic myth that only simple-minded fools buy into... because it sells the product to suggest that the NFL is just like the movies... 1 guy is the hero, and does it all! It's a myth that is spoon fed to people who can't think in complex terms, and they gobble it up like Halloween candy!
Where, when, team?

I have no idea what any of this has to do with anything I have said.
MGM said the Ravens SB win was the most predictable... I said the Seahawks SB win was the most predictable, and I pointed to the fact that Seattle covered by a mile, and the Ravens covered by an inch.
Nobody ever said anything about their ROAD to the Super Bowl, and nobody ever made any comparison to this year's Panthers team...

I really believe the line is where it is at the present moment which is -4.5 because if it got down to 3 or below there would be no Broncos money. Just my humble opinion. Denver's D is fantastic to say the least but Cam will find a way to win this game for the Panthers. Really think this game is either close or a blowout nothing in between. Panthers -4.5. GLA

You realize it can all be read on the same page... page 6? Why are you telling me to read it again, when you can read it for yourself and see that I am right?
MGMPROFITS (Post #132): "That is your opinion. I think the Ravens were the most predictable since Rey Lewis was retiring.
Seattle was predictable too, but it wasnt the easiest one ever. But the 2.5 spread gave it away."
ME (Post #136): "You're basing it on conspiracy/fixing theory... I'm basing it on handicapping football teams. You can follow whatever theory you want, but let's remember that the Ravens barely covered, and were 1 play away from not covering...the Seahawks covered by a country mile, and were never close to not covering!"
As you can see, it is exactly as I said... nobody ever said anything about the games before the Super Bowl (except you), and nobody ever made any comparison to this year's Panthers (except you).
Is it safe to assume you are always this wrong?
