Pittsburgh -7 Is Vegas Serious?

Cards upset Pitt.  I have called 10 SBs in a row. Always the best week I have all year. I throw out the reg season and watch extensive game film of the playoffs.  I am from Vegas and the line just reflects one thing only - the action.  Rule of thumb in the NFL. NEVER bet against a small market underdog when the favorite is from big market region and the line is 7 or more.  Big Ben is the slowest most overrated QB in the league (sacked more often than any other QB in the league since 2004), and the Pitt O-line is seriously problematic.  Pitt has excellent Defense but is out manned athletically by AZ receivers.  Warner's release has burned every blitz thrown at him (ask stunned Eagle fans as they watched a couple of weeks ago), and if he has time (he will) as the AZ o-line pass defense is one of the most underrated in the league, he will pick apart Pitt.  This is an era where vertical leap rather then speed beats fast defenses.  Pitt hasn't played against a team like this since they got beat by AZ last year.  AZ Coach Wise..t knows Pitt better then then they know themselves.  Dungy is right, look for an upset as AZ defense when they need to be, can be a terror.  Pitt doesn't know how to come from behind (and is not built to), and ball control never exists in SB second halfs as teams quickly settle into normal play characteristics. Pitt's offense is the real fraud. BTW Edge/Hightower over Parker/Moore, I'll take any day.  Parker not the same legs as two years ago.  When is the last time you saw him beat everyone around the edge. Look to four sacks and two AZ picks off Big Ben to make the difference. 31-24 AZ. 

I smell a blowout of epic proportions after listening to all the Steeler love.  The Steeler secondary is going to be exposed early and the Steelers will be in catch up mode. something that will result in some ridiculous score like 49-0 Cardinals.  Nobody will be expecting that score.

you obv know nothing about football. First off, Pitt D shut down top offensive teams ALL YEAR long. Arizona will struggle this entire game. Yeah they will get points but not much. b4 the cards played the eagles...jim johnson(def. cord of eagles) said that warner is one of the best qb's of all time with recognizing blitzes and getting the ball away...yea he may be old but ill take jim johnsons word over yours bout warner and getting blitzed

  Cards may have been crap on the road, but when did those L's occur? After they had clinched the division in the middle of the season? How up were they for games? Look at how AZ did against east coast teams ......I think the DOG barks myself, but I am still on the fence and may sit there. Over the total is my play for now. If AZ is not putting points on the board, the PITT -D- will be racing the PITT -O- to see who scores more .....that is the only way I can see AZ losing is if Warner looks like Rex Grossman and gives away 5 picks. Can he do that with Bouldin, Fitztgerald, and Breston? Edge is good at screens too which could help against the pass rush of Pitt. Also, Is Hines 100% (I'm sure he will give it 100% because he is a warrior) or will it not matter and will he do like the GREATS and come up even bigger when not 100%   I LOVE -D- and believe it wins Championships, but if AZ is on it's game, they WILL shock the world!

  Are people going to also say that the Cards are going to the east coast where they have played worse than dog shit and do the same? It's going to be weather like HOME and Warner knows this could be the last time he see's a SB. Not that they would not contend again, but the odds are against them, so he knows this is it and the KIDS have jumped on the Let's SHOCK the WORLD Tour!

   This is a team that Pitt does not want to see .....not the same, but can score like a NE team that has put Pitt to the side ....

Wow, I could not begin to read the whole thread, but I think the Steelers defense is overrated a bit.  It is pretty funny how everyone I talk to that sucks at betting is takin Pitt.  That made me take Zona, I don't really have a good explanation for my pick besides that.  When people that suck pick a team, that I know for a fact,  I go the other way.  Ha ha, kind of a stupid way to bet, but I didn't see an edge either way.  I sort of figured Steelers by about 7.

yeah 12 turnovers in 3 games, shutting down NFL leading rusher, leading tandem rusher, and hottest team coming into playoffs(eagles),  is definately playing well as of late

Don't forget a lot of arizona's losses came when they didn't care at the end of the season. The gane they lost to the patriots, Warner didn't see the 2nd quarter. Boldin also didn't play a lot. I had both these players in fantasy so it was kinda annoying. Early on in the season they were 8th against the run, and I believe they have returned to this, I f zona gets beat it will happen in the air with there beat up secondary. I don't know if the cards will be able to run, but since they sat the edge in the 2nd half of the season they have a veteran that is healthier than ever in the plaoffs and has been running the ball well. I think arizona's road through the playoffs was tougher than pittsburgh by far. The wildcard game followed by Carolina. I believe the cardinals will cover and might win outright. I also like the U. Please keep betting the steelers because I would love to see the hook for free.

oh and, giving up 300+ yards passing to a suspect o line and no running game(chargers) at home, in bad weather, IN ONLY 3 QUARTERS isnt exactly stout defense.  if not for fluky ass interception tipped up, and a fluky ass punt that hit a gunner in helmet,  your not even playing baltimore for the AFC title you jackass,

The Chargers gained 290 total yards the entire game. That is 290 the entire game. Let's not forget they had a late TD in which Pitt was playing prevent D. Ummmm where you getting your facts man? Pitt will crush your little birds. Little little birdy will be crushed

Dude, the Eagles only scored 3 offensive TD's in their two previous playoff games before facing AZ. If that wasn't a warning sign to Philly backers............ 

So far AZ has faced a rookie QB,  a veteran QB that would like to have a few very poorly thrown passes back and a Philly team that, albeit was playing well on D, was not playing well at all on offense.
