The real question is... can the cards stop pitts offense, if so... they might have a small chance of covering or winning.

We see that Arizona is ranked #4 in total offense in which they gained 365 ypg. After taking a closer look at the offensive numbers this year, these offensive numbers is nothing but a big FRAUD. They have by far the weakest division in all of football. They got to play all these teams twice. These teams includes St Louis ranked 28, Seattle ranked 30 and San Fransisco ranked 13 in total defense. In those 6 games they averaged 403 ypg. That is almost 40 ypg better then their season average. Play those very weak teams will make any offesne look much better then it really is. Arizona played 6 teams that are ranked in the top 10 in total defense. These teams include Giants, Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles (twice), Vikings, and Patriots. In these 7 games they averaged a mere 298 ypg. I repeat they averaged just 298 ypg!! That is a dismal 67 yards below their season average. This will be by leaps and bounds the best defense Arizona will face all year. Pitt will shut down Arizona!
The most suprising stat of this match up is on the defensive side of the ball. Pittsburgh is ranked #1 in total defense and statistically I repeat statistically one of the top 5 or 6 defenses of ALL TIME!! Arizona is ranked #19 in total defense and #28 in points allowed. Important to note Seattle ranked 28th, St Louis ranked 27th and San Fransico ranked 23 in total offense. Still with these 6 easy games Arizona still cant stop anyone. Big Ben, Willie Parker, Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes and crew will rip through that weak very soft defense.
Pittsburgh has the most underrated offense in all of the NFL. Pitt will put points up no doubt about it. How you ask? Yes I know they are ranked just 22th in total offense. Take a look at their schedule and you will see why. Pitt has faced 9 out of the top 12 defenses in the NFL. That includes a stagering 11 out of their 16 games in which they had to face a defense that was ranked 12th or better. I repeat 11 out of the 16 games. Some experts say that Pittsburgh played the toughest scdedule they have ever seen.
Pittsburgh's record is 14-4 and Arizona's record is 12-7. Pitt had the toughest schedule in the NFL. Pitt has faced 10 different teams that have a record of 500 or better. That is 10 out of their 13 teams Pitt has faced. Still with all of this Pittsburgh has a much better record then Arizona and one of the top defenses of all time!!
Bottom line Arizona is no where near the class of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh the much better team. They are the best team in the NFL. Pittsburgh will win by at least 14 points
Superbowl 2009 besides the pro bowl it will be the last game for the next 7 months or so. GO BIG and GL to all
Pittsburgh ML 20 units to win 7
Pittsburgh Speard -6.5 hook (-120) 10 units

Fact #1) You suck
Fact #2) Pitt defense is good....but almost 45% of their games were played against the bottom 3 teams offensively in the NFL
Fact #3) Az is the best offense Pitt will have played all year....
Fact#4) Az has more playmakers and the best 2 wrs in this game...
Fact#5) Pitts offense was ranked 22nd in the NFL....
But, hey, those are just a few facts. I'm sure you have some about the other playoff teams that they played and reason why Indy beat them etc....
gl with your pitt play. Wish I was smart enough to take the favorite.

This coming from a guy who says that he is the worst capper on this site and to fade him all the time...
I have seen your picks, and I would have to agree...

Esplanade, they obviously still did not get your post...Dense is a loose term with these guys...
Guys, what Esplanade is commenting on is Pitt's D (nothing else) and the fact that 40% of their schedule is against teams with horrible offenses....horrible offenses... A little smoke and mirrors
Basically, I could get a group of 11 together and easily be a top 10 defense in the NFL with their schedule...
Again, this is only talking about their D, not anything else...
