Smokin - how on Earth can you make such a huge deal out of the niners losing at Arizona and neglect the Saints losing to a much worse St Louis team? Yeah the niners didn't play the toughest schedule ever but they play consistent football and win... not only that they are rested, have NO injuries aside from delanie walker, and half the team is putting up personal bests in the weight room last week and crediting their stregnth and conditioning coach for having them stronger and healthier at a point in the season when other teams are banged up. The Saints have never won a road playoff game despite being a "lock" in Seattle last year...

Since the loss to St Louis, The saints have not lost a game SU or ATS... They have been on fire... I dont see SF putting that fire out... GB, Maybe... not SF

Entering the playoffs, it appears the Niners can cross those red-zone issues off their fix-it list, and coach Jim Harbaugh said some of the credit can go to San Francisco’s defense.
As the 49ers’ failings inside their opponents’ 20-yard line mounted during the season, Harbaugh devoted more practice time to red-zone plays. And he also had the offense match up against the first-string defense, instead of the scout team.
The move made sense. The Niners’ defense, which finished the season ranked fourth-best in opponents’ red-zone touchdown percentage (41.2), provides some of the best competition the NFL can offer.
“It’s actually something we’ve incorporated the last three weeks – going against our defense in the red zone,” Harbaugh said. “It’s been good for us. We’ll continue to build on that, especially this week, probably more than we have.”
After scoring three touchdowns on 20 red-zone possessions, San Francisco finished the season by scoring touchdowns on six of its final eight possessions inside the 20.

Saints won their last 3 road games... and were 5-3 on the road for the season... SF has lost at home... do dont act like they cant be beat at home.. 2 of the 3 losses away were in games that they should have won and probably went into them thinking they would be easy... Again, they wont be doing that here because they know it wont be easy in this game.

SF played a creampuff schedule playing only 5 games vs playoff opponents something has to be said for playing 6 gms vs STL, SEA, AZ
and have not faced a team all season with similar weapons as the Saints possess
Dallas, NYG and Pitt were as good as it got in terms of high scoring offenses and all 3 qb's posted +300 yrds vs their defense
They will not be able to contain Brees, Sproles, Graham, Colston, Thomas, Meachem and win this on FG's

Not true. Baltimore, Pitt, Cincy, NYG and Detroit. The only loss was to Baltimore, on a 3-day week.
This is one of the only things that matter to me:
Outdoors this year, the Saints have scored 22 (Tenn), 20 (T.B. - who, the week before SF ROUTED. So there goes your silly common opponent argument), and 23 (Jax). None of those are playoff teams and none of those teams have the best defense in the NFC.
