i'm sorry, but you are going to lose your "house" on the chargers +6! big ben will have 300+ yards passing against that charger weak secondary and the steelers will win 31-21! on their way to another super bowl!
It amazes me how easy it is for people to criticize Ben Roethlisberger.
Let's see...
* 13 wins as a rookie and a 15-1 record.
* Super Bowl win in 2nd season. And, who cares what he did that day other than WINNING. I seem to recall he had three very dominating games against Cincy, Indy and Denver on the road. Oh, yeah, great clutch tackle, too, in Indy.
* 51-23 career record as a starter (this might not be exact but it's close).
* It would have been easy to fold at this point in his career but he shows great poise and maturity by providing a 32 TD / 11 INT season, division crown and HE didn't lose that game to JAX last year.
I don't know about all you critics but I want my QB to win more than anything else. People who criticize him for an occasional bad game are "not exactly the most knowledgeable football fans out there".
umm... what has philip rivers won in the NFL?
Enough said.
Could not have said it any better.

As a Charger fan, I hope Big Ben starts. If Leftwich starts, then I will not bet the game.
However, if Ben Worthlessberger starts for the overrated Steelers, then I will be the house on San Diego +6.
For people to say that San Diego is overrated is a farce. How?Most media types suggest
a 8-8 team in the playoffs is terrible and how New England is more deserving. How’s that being “overrated”?You don’t know what you’re talking about if you say this.
This Pittsburgh QB is overrated. In fact, I am not sure if there’s a more overrated player in sports (not just the NFL) than this guy.The dude is not even the best QB on his team. He’s a backup QB, at best, in the NFL.
San Diego +6 (LARGE) if Big Ben plays
No Play if Big Ben doesn’t play
IM BETTIN THE RANCH IF THE MOTORCYCLE STAR PLAYS!

Big Steeler fan here and Im not sure Pitt covers? I think they win though, if Ben doesn't give the ball away. As for him being over rated, hes the youngest QB to win a super bowl and has had some pretty good game winning drives....but if it were not for that D they are .500 at best. So yes hid D has kept him in games and bailed him out of bad field position but if I had that D I might take morechances too. Now as for Leftwich being better I don't know about that he wasn't even playing anywhere and would probably be watching the post season from his couch if Batch didn't get hurt, but teams don't prepare for him. I will take Rickerbocker with a grain of salt since he is a Chargers fan and as a Steeler fan I love it. GL Ricker

Unless a Raven fan tells me that i am wrong,i don't remember that going quite that way,The Vikes were supposed to take him but the clock expired on them, jacksonville then picked him.Stuckey or Cylax need to validate who is right.....
As I recall, the Vikings did run out of time and the Jagoffs jumped in with their pick as soon as the clock hit zero. I think the Vikings were still talking trade and just ran out of time to get to the podium.

wow.. you ruined all credibility when you stated you are a chargers fan.... you're emotionally vested and so betting "(LARGE)" is always a good idea in this situation. judging by your comments, you obviously dont get it in many ways. go ahead, you seem like a pro!
Even funnier, you dont even make your point. If SD is overratted and NE doesnt deserve playoffs (yes they do more than SD), how does comparing that to what you think is an overrated Pitt QB make your point???? huh? whatever 'SD Fan-atic'. now just settle down after your non-deserving win over indy and relax. big ben is not even "hyped" up enough to be overrated. no one is chalking him up as top 5 QB in the league or the next montana. The media just rap about his knack for winning, which is true. so shut your pie hole, sit back on sunday and watch SD get run over by the steelers. the colts have a mediocre D and had incredible pass rush (with out much blitz) on rivers all night and will be all over the rush, leading to at least 2 picks by steelers secondary. they will prove you had no reason being in the postseason, much less hosting a playoff game. you should be more scared that the colts win just bought Norv another year. any pick I see from you here on out.. I will be sure and run for cover.
out.

Colts have a mediocre pass rush with Freeney and Mathis? Intersting opinion. I must have been mistaken that Freeney was going to the ProBowl. You talk about credibility but you sound like a bitter fan to me (maybe New England?) so I am not sure about your objectivity either. I just don't see any reason to attack someone for posting an opinion we are all just trying to pick a winner. Anyhow good luck to you, I personally think this will be a close game as i broke it down in my write up above. It is hard to compare the last game with this one. Different teams. Everyone starts out in the playoffs 0-0. It is funny to me how everyone slams the Colts now when before they were talking about how they were 5-0 against playoff teams including Steelers and had won nine in a row, when did that change? Good luck all.
