LIKE ATL AS WELL.  DETROITS D LINE STILL PRETTY GOOD AND LIONS CAPABLE OF KEEPING IT CLOSE, JUST ASK HOUSTON.  I EXPECT A FULL EFFORT FROM BOTH SIDES AS ATL HAS HOMEFIELD TO PLAY FOR AND THE LIONS WANT TO KEEP THEIR JOBS.

yeah but that game against houston was a Thanksgiving game and around that time the lions still had a shot to make the playoffs, lines D just gave up 38 to Arizona, what will Atlanta throw up?? IMO I just don't see an angle to take the lions, keep there jobs, trust me boss, if there changes going to be made on the roster or coaching its going to happen regardless of how they end the season.

It's about time for Gunther Cunningham to retire and enjoy his family life. He has done remarkable job coaching in this league but time to take retirement now, Mr. Cunningham.

Cardinals had two pick sixes and short field from the turnovers. Cardinals offense really didn't do much.

It will depend on which ATL team shows up, the one that went up to Philly / San Diego and dominated or the one that played it safe (vanilla, no blitzes or anything) against Carolina.

I think ATL's gonna win but if they play it vanilla (they usually keep the exotic stuff for good QB's like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Eli who all had multiple INT's) then they should win in a close game. If they come out with the looks they did against those elite QB's then they should win by a wide margin.

pick sixes turnovers are part of the game, I watched that game, and the lions missed tackles, the db's and safties are out of place, there's no pressure on the Quarterback, and if I'm wrong and the lions come out and play the game of season and beat Atlanta, I still would have bet the same way. GL

A 12-2 Falcons team coming off an impressive shutout win against a solid Giants squad @ the 4-10 lions who got embarrassed last week by the offensively challenged Cardinals, and the spread opens at only 3 points? This is too good to be true my friend, Vegas is begging you to take ATL. GL

My apologies, I should have been more specific. I was only referring to people posting all the money being all on one side and the line moving the other way. Seems every week we get a game where everyone is talking about this until they are blue in the face and last week that game was Green Bay and Chicago. I was not comparing any other aspect or situation of the game itself

  your thinking to much about this Vegas crap, the reason why the line is 4-4.5 is that Atlanta plays down to these weaker teams, well this week after the beating they gave the champs they continue to play dominated football, especially a national televised game. GL and thanks for your comments

There are absolutely no angles on supporting the Lions in this spot.

And no, "the line just doesn't seem right" isn't a fu*king angle...

Atlanta will play hard to lock up the NFC. Detroit will play to not get embarassed on National television.

I'd much rather fade ATL next week against the bucs, after HFA is locked up.

I just can't see the best team in the NFC dominating the champs the way they did, come back and allow a Detroit team to beat them on a nationally televised game, they win Saturday night, clinch home field, and rest next week. You don't just play the best game of the season and come back 6 days later and lose to a bad lions team.

NOT SO SURE ATLANTA IS BETTER THAN SF AND SEATTLE.  NINERS ARE TWO MISSED AKERS FGS AWAY FROM BEING 12-2.  LOOK AT ATLANTAS BIG WINS.  NY AND NO.  THOSE TWO HAVE THEIR PROBLEMS THIS YEAR.  OUTSIDE OF DENVER EARLY IN THE YEAR THE SCHEDULE LOOKS PRETTY EASY.

STILL LIKE THEM TO COVER HERE AGAINST A DETROIT TEAM THAT MAY SHOW UP.
