This guy in the YouTube comments already did the work for me. 

"This presentation is entertaining but horribly flawed. When you strip away the conjecture and look at purely empirical data you will see that this theory is a mirage. There are 32 teams in the NFL. Another way to say this is that for any given Super Bowl venue there is only one team out of 32 that calls it home (ignoring Jets/Giants for the sake of simplicity). SIMPLY PUT, THERE IS ONLY A 1/32 CHANCE EACH YEAR OF A TEAM PLAYING IN A HOME SUPER BOWL. THIS IS A STATISTICAL TRUTH. In only 47 chances it is not at all beyond the realm of probability that we haven't yet hit on a 1 in 32 chance. It will happen some day. All the minutiae about how a given team reached or failed to reach the big game is irrelevant; it's window dressing. Also, this whole "analysis" of team's W-L records during and after a home Super Bowl is irrelevant unless you compare it to W-L variability for all team, all years. Without comparison to some sort of baseline it is meaningless. I get it. Being a diehard football fan is an emotional thing. We always hope for future greatness while continuing to rehash the failures of the past. We look for reasons to explain the seemingly impossibly bad luck of heartbreaking losses. We dwell on the "what ifs" and "why nots". The reality is that championships are won and lost on the mind-numbing multitude of split-seconds and mere inches. This is hard so hard to swallow that we look for hidden reasons - "the fix is in!" If there is any evidence of NFL fixing, this ain't it.?"

Mookie comes out as a troll from hiding...i knew exactly what i was doing when i mentioned his name few hours ago...i knew he would come out and show us all what a mouth breather looks like...over the past few days i didnt mention him and felt bad...trolls like him require attention every so often.

Valid point, but I don't have the time to thoroughly debunk someone who is always just going to ignore anything. I'm almost positive you are someone who will never change your belief no matter how convincing or accurate the opposing argument is.

I think I stopped reading on page 5 or 6 but riddle me this Batman: Everything you see in pro sports and NCAA, all the flukies and randomness and stuff that just doesn't add up happens in triple A and bush league and high school and in foreign leagues in 3rd world countries  - WHERE NO ONCE CARES, NO ONE IS GAMBLING, THERE'S HARDLY ANY MERCHANDISE BEING SOLD, NO BIG TV CONTRACTS.

Yet it all still happens - It's the nature of randomness and chaos theory in team sports in general. Get a life or an education. Simple as.

Are there leans and favors at times by the officiating crew? Most likely. But to say games are completely scripted like WWF is foolish.
