Almost everyone is on KC, yet nobody is shocked that SF is favored??? Yeah, right.
Anyone who thinks that an opener of SF - 2.5 will produce 50/50 action shouldn't live in a state with legalized marijuana. Everyone that I know favors KC and it isn't even close.
It doesn't take a Nostradamus to imagine which side the money is on IMO. If the books wanted 50/50 action the opener should have been KC -3 (at least considering the KC battle tested experience and the recent performances of the two teams).
The Chiefs were never in any real danger in any of their 3 postseason games. The optic was otherwise for SF.
If she wins in November, may God help us all. The fate of the nation hangs in the balance.

I was not shocked to see the opening line. If this was week 18 on a neutral field I'd think the line should be SF -3.5 to SF -5. The reason the opening line for SB was SF -2.5 because of how bad SF look and how good KC look in the playoff games.

Heres the math. Its easy:
Everyone that you know: 20 people who bet 100 bucks each = $2K at DraftKings
1 person you dont know: Bets 100k on SF at Pinnacle
Get it? You are a square who knows squares. These people dont set lines. Its like going to your buddys bachelor party in his basement and he has a Karaoke machine and your buddy selects your favorite Hymn called "Yes Jesus loves me, the bible tells me so" and he sings it so good that you think he must be the best singer in the world and you never actually go listen to Adele.
You dont know what you talkin about. You have to wait around like everyone else. Cant even get decent food. Right after your buddys bachelor party you ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and you got egg noodles and ketchup. You are an average nobody. You get to live the rest of your life like a schnook.
But that aint gonna stop you from talking like you know something.
Support your local animal shelter. I am on twitter.

You should open an oddsmaking service and call it Knee Jerk Opener Consultants. Other oddsmaking services would find your service helpful as a guide to knowing where not to begin.
Just kidding, just kidding. No, but seriously, if you're interested and looking for funding, send me a DM.

I am certain that I am not alone in thinking that it came as a surprise to learn that the 49ers were the favorites with the opening number of -2.5. I suspect I am not alone either. If it didn't come as a surprise to you, quite honestly I could care less.
"Here is the math" is not exactly the best way to start off an objective critique. None of us can be sure how much money has been bet on each side. As far as the numbers of bets on KC, it is not a leap of faith to be aware that KC is getting the most numbers of bets (if not money).
As far as the most money bet on the sides, who can say, but I did make my speculation that far more is being bet on KC...can I prove it? No, but you can't disprove it either with your voodoo math that is speculative also.
Of course you buy into the notion that betting line movements reflect additional money in play, which I don't. I think that sometimes (not always) books take a stand on a number because they think they have the better of it. Not all games are bet 50/50 with balanced action either.
On Covers there are far more bettors on KC than they are on SF. Read their posts. Last year everyone that I knew favored the Eagles and I bet the Chiefs which is documented on here as I posted my Superbowl pick. I know from your personal attacks that they were meant to harm but actually my main problem is that I am a good cook and I eat too well. I need to fast like Ghandi and live on spinach and goats milk but I lack the resolve.

Nothing knee jerk about it considering the Chiefs are battle tested and have a lot more experience in big games, and have the better QB, coaching staff, better defense, and have performed better in recent weeks. Is it recency bias that makes me think KC should have been the favorite or is it following the hot hand and the more experienced overall team. That being said, I haven't made up my mind yet on which side I will take. I will be sure and let you, and Vanutsack, and the guy from the mental hospital know with a writeup. You are a legend in your own mind pal.

Maybe your intention for this post is beyond me and I'm willing to admit that if true, otherwise this is non-sense it seem like a trigger for conspiracy crap.
