Going to wait until game day but leaning heavily towards Saints. All the Bucs wins have been against cupcakes besides the GB win. IMO Their offensive line is mediocre at best and their defense has underperformed. Just haven’t been a fan of the way Brees has been playing.

Thx. I'm actually a Dolphins fan but always up for a good sportsbar and "fraternizing with the enemy." I remember years ago my brother and I were looking for a place to watch the Fins game in Raleigh NC. We found a sportsbar, a Steelers bar. And who was MIA playing? Yes, the Steelers. Pretty sure we were the only Fins fans there, and the place was packed. Never been on such good behavior in a bar in my life! The Steelers won, in hindsight, that may have been a good thing!

They have no problem with "the enemy" - all in good fun. They used to own the bar across the street from Rich Stadium, Milligan's was the name, now it's changed. I used to bounce there on gamedays and my wife bartended. The Miami fans were ok, not many of them in Buffalo, the Jets fans were a pain in the ars, and no one likes the Pats, but the worst was the canadians - they were annoying as fuk, always asking where are the "washrooms", why aren't there more "washrooms". Anyway, if you happen to go there, Bill and Tracy are the owners, tell them Mark sent you, they'll take very good care of you. I lost a good job here outside of Buffalo and the Tampa area is on my short list of somewhere to move to, very nice area, maybe someday.....

Thx again will definitely be checking it down the road. And we'd luv to have you down here. I'm usually around one of these forum's, if you ever have any questions. Good luck to you!

Watching the local news, Ronald Jones, quad, looks like he'll be a go for Sunday. He and Fournette, and the "O" line of course, must perform well. Also Brady speaking about the Saints defense, utmost respect for how good they are.

Thanks duuke. I feel you and I am also scared of that. As I see it, there are two remedies against a good pass rush. 1) Get rid of the ball quick and Brady is probably the best guy doing that; 2) and most importantly, a good rushing game, or some rushing game at all. Rushing the QB is way way easier if your D line knows that a pass is coming.
As I mentioned, in that blowout game, Tampa ran the ball 4 times. FOUR. It´s embarassing and I hope that Fat Bruce has learned the lesson for this one. If they run 4 times again we will almost certainly lose our bet :s
Regarding the secondary. Tampa has what any Defensive coordinator would like against the Saints. The best D against the run. Dare Brees to beat you with his arm. Drew Brees surpassed 300 yards only 3 times this season. And not once, did he have more than 325 yards. He has a noodle arm, and admitting it does not mean you are disrespecting the fact that he is (or WAS is the right term) one of the best to ever do this, but not anymore... An older Brady still has his arm strength. A weak secondary against a guy that cannot throw beyond 25 yards, is not that much of a weakness

This is an interesting point. I think for both these teams, playing from behind will be especially complicated. The Bucs lose the run game which is necesarry to counter the Saints pass rush. And the Saints... well

1. Thanks for the thread. This is why I had joined this forum some years ago. We were missing this and it helps us all in our capping endeavour.
2. To all Brees lovers out there look at his stats. Since 2018 his yards per attempt have been dropping. His completion percentage stayed similar, and improved from his younger days only because it is easy to complete a 5 yard pass than a 20 yard pass. But this specific season, that completion percentage dropped. Brees never throws a deep bomb anymore, and it is easier for defenses to play that way... makes the safeties´ lives way simpler.
The Saints are a great team. But it is mostly because of a very good defense, the best RB in football, and this diva called Michael Thomas. It aint got nothing to do with Brees.

I gave my thoughts without the black and gold glasses on. I use to be diehard, now I really don't care if they win or lose. As long as I'm on the right side and Saints is the right side.
We can play what if all day when it comes to the Bucs. Just look at the teams. The Saints are winning despite how Brees plays or if he plays. I'd say Brees is playing pretty good right now if we compare him to Mannings last year with Denver.
Saints D will stop Brady a 3rd time.

He’s already signed a TV contract and they had to beg him to come back this year. Pretty common knowledge in NOLA. He just doesn’t want to be the focus and deal with all the media bullshit

Saints last ride. Team healthy and focused. Salary cap kills them next year and team gets a complete makeover. The motivation over the last three years must be overwhelming but notice how the press is at talking about that...

There's a lot of love for Brady considering he was 22/40 last game. I haven't heard anyone discuss how inaccurate he really was. He hit all the big plays and that's great but can he sustain drives against the Saints doing that? I really don't get all the hate for the Saints. It sounds like nobody thinks they have a good team. They are one of the most complete teams in the NFL. They don't need Brees to win the game for them. They need him to be a game manager because that defense is good enough to stop opponents and their coach is one of the best in the NFL.

I been listening to the sports talk radio with B.Herbert and Kristain Garic (New Orleans)and they were talking the narrative about it's hard to beat a team 3 times but they said its happened 21 times and the team that one the first 2 games have won the 3rd game 14 times.
