I'm deeply sorry to hear about your friend passing, Aunts cancer , fathers fight with Covid and anything your child is going through ..
Prayers for them and your mental well being...You got this Brother !!! To be completely straight up , when troubling times come it's often a very dangerous to gamble ....Some of the worst runs were during times of crisis....Best of Health, Blessings and luck to you and everyone you Love .
No harm , No Foul when it comes to anything you've said here on COVERS....Its a gambling and often a fan forum for us all to vent ...This world would be absolutely boring and almost impossible to make a profit if we were all the same and agreed on everything .
There are plenty of people I've argued with or had heated exchanges with ...Its no different to me than playing basketball or another team sport ......People say things in the moment ( especially behind a key board ) and then all is forgiving ...
You never said anything over the top anyways.. BILLS fans can be ultra annoying ( I can't even take my kids to a game = Pre Covid ) .
Your write up is Fantastic and clearly males a great case for the Chiefs ....
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it. A lot of truth in what you say. Sometimes hardship and tragedy leads to bad decisions and sometimes it gives you the clarity of a man facing the gallows, if you know what I mean. I only gamble during times of severe distress in my life; as a kind of outlet for my pain. It usually works out, but sometimes it doesn’t. We shall see. Looking forward to your writeup for the Bills.

My condolences BB on your losses and tragedies...I have two siblings fighting for their lives now...one with 'blood cancer' and another with heart problems...have two friends who are fighting for their lives also...one from skin cancer and another from a general health breakdown. All I can do is pray...
Dr. Christian Barnhard (performed the first heart transplant) wrote an essay titled 'Death Where Is Thy Sting' and he offered it for publication at a company that I used to work for. He wrote that in all the years of dealing with thousands of patients facing death, only a young teen had a traumatic response at the time of death, the others accepted death peacefully. He wrote in his summation that: 'sometimes only death can cure what medicine cannot'.

Some news on Mahomes even as the line moves against KC:
So if Mahomes passed all of the concussion tests, what exactly did happen that prevented him from returning with everything on the line against Cleveland? It turns out Mahomes easily passed the concussion tests because he reportedly never had one in the first place, and the actual reason he was instantly delirious was reportedly due to a nerve in his neck that got tweaked (or potentially compressed) on the hit, per Carrington Harrison of CBS Sports Radio in Kansas City.

Hang in there BB, there isn’t a household in the world without problems, however rich or poor, life’s challenges come in waves. It’s about weathering the storm. It’s always darkest before dawn.
I like KC also.
I would love to see how the Ravens game played out if they cashed in that TD on 3rd and goal to tie the game at 10-10 heading into the 4th. It was a gift from the football gods, that 101 yard pick six. Won’t happen again.

@begginerboy Good write-up but with teams having to pay their dues to win it all what about Philadelphia a few years back?
There are certainly exceptions, as I wrote. I posed the whole theory of teams paying their dues as a question: i.e. will the Bills be the exception or the rule?
If you recall, that Philly team’s toughest game before reaching the SB was against Atlanta who had lost the SB the previous year. Atlanta had a chance to win the game on the road in Philly but Matty Ice choked in the red zone. That team was playing with house money once Wentz went down because nobody expected them to keep winning as “dogs.” It was a very unique situation. Hard to find a parallel.

Thanks for the encouragement my friend. I appreciate it.
The two biggest turnovers last week were that one and the one by Cook (Arians said what we all knew: it totally flipped the game). You can also count the ball that went through the end zone in the Browns game, but if Mahomes doesn’t get hurt I doubt that even a TD there would have mattered. It only came into play, and loomed large, after the Mahomes injury. I think if Ravens tie the game there, it would have been a classic. Jackson blew it. I don’t think I can put money on him in big situations again. He plays to loose, too casual, and every possession is so important. That interception he chucked up there against the Titans on their first possession should have been a clue.

My condolences on your losses and best wishes for your friends, family and loved ones.
Sports betting is pretty trivial in the whole scheme of things, particularly now. The vaccine should be widely available in time for the next football season. Better times are ahead.

Stat to know: The Bills have dropped back to pass 73% of the time this postseason, and only one team has ever reached a conference title game passing more often -- the 2015 Patriots (83%), who lost in the AFC Championship Game that season.
Buffalo won last week with just 32 rushing yards -- the fourth fewest ever in a playoff win, per the Elias Sports Bureau -- and Allen currently leads the team on the ground with 57 yards over two postseason games. The Bills averaged 64.0 rushing yards per game this season, fewer than all but one team to ever reach the Super Bowl; the 1999 Rams averaged 41.0.

Two interesting betting trends favoring KC:

Begginerboy sorry to hear about all going on in your life. You must have alot of courage my friend thats alot to battle all at once. My condolences to you and all your are going thru right now. Thats alot to take on begginerboy. My thoughts and prayers with you. I always love your analysis in the forum. Keep posting and just say it how you always do. Should be great games this weekend. I just hope that turf toe doesn't keep Mahomes from playing his game. The Bills are for real. Josh Allen is something wow he has come into his own. Then you have the legend Rodgers going up against Brady the hall a famer at Lambeau field. I have to give the edge to the Packers. My main concern for the Bucs is there secondary. I think Rodgers and the Packers receivers can take advantage of them. Brady will have to score to keep up with Rodgers. I just think Rodgers is on q mission and has a huge chip on his shoulder and he wants another ring. I like the Pack to win. The Bills game I just can't decide yet. I will wait to closer to game time and see how Mahomes turf toe is. Good luck either way and keep posting begginerboy we appreciate the posts in the NFL forum.

ive enjoyed the debate and disagreement with you and admit, as a Bills fan, I've been a little biased, even though I believe the Bills win this game for football reasons.
That all said, man, prayers to you and yours and I hope things work out.

This year I seriously started betting football 8 weeks ago and have won 33 units since that time. I’m putting it all on the Chiefs at -150 ml to beat the Bills of Buffalo in order to win 22 units. It’s not the kind of betting I recommend people do, especially because there is a chance the best QB of his generation may not play, but I’m willing to take it because I can afford to. My apologies to Bills fans for my underestimating and even insulting them the last couple of weeks. I’ve been under tremendous stress of late, and I come here for the banter and to vent after tough losses (with gambling just being a form of escape from the real life losses that I’ve been experiencing of late: my best friend died of Covid, my aunt has terminal cancer, my child is suffering from a dangerous eating disorder and my father is on his deathbed with Covid at a hospital where I can’t visit him). All this to say, don’t judge me too harshly for things I’ve said on this forum, or the hours I’ve spent here, it’s my only way right now of dealing with life’s blows, which keep coming and coming. To the writeup: Bills are a fine team with a QB that is only second to one: Pat Mahomes. Of course, if Mahomes doesn’t play next week this bet will be a bad one, not because I don’t think KC would still have a chance to win (more on that later) but because of the number I’m getting. With Mahomes I think KC would be, at the very least, -200 at home. But I think with Mahomes that number should really be closer to -300. But that’s just my opinion. As to the game, here is what I see:
Thanks, fellas, for all the kind sentiments. My dad is home from the hospital. He still on oxygen but improving. His two favorite quarterbacks are in the SB, so maybe that’s a good omen. I’m also happy that KC came through as I thought they would. Had I not gone with my instincts about this game, and pulled the trigger early, all the banter in this forum would have confused the hell out of me.
