Exactly! Even when he was with the legion of boom he was way over hyped! He’s a really good DB who’s long, fast, and has good reads on offenses. He wasn’t even the best DB on that squad yet he got all that praise. The reason why is he’s a loud mouth! Kam and ET3 allowed Sherman to thrive, not the opposite way around. Kam imo was one of the best center fielders of all time. Definitely top 3 in the last 20 years or so

And at the end of the regular season, the same source you are using to discredit him, had him ranked #1 overall...
As PFF’s highest-graded cornerback, Richard Sherman has regained his dominance by perfecting a top-down technique that allows him to use his 6-foot-3 frame in the 49ers' single-high man-to-man or deep Cover-3 zone scheme. Sherman has always been a smart and savvy player who is a perfect fit for press coverage with a mix of both man and zone coverage. He has the NFL’s 10th-best forced incompletion rate (17.6%) and has allowed only one touchdown across 517 coverage snaps.
Above all, Sherman has the most coveted trait you want in any pass defender — he doesn’t allow big pass plays downfield. In 2019, he allowed only 8.4 yards per reception, third-best in the league, while just 13 of his 51 targets were converted to a first down, which was the fourth-best total by any player at his position.
Sherman plays with plenty of swagger, but his performance is backed up with plenty of substance, as evidenced by the fact that opposing quarterbacks have managed a passer rating of just 46.8 when throwing his way. As he wraps up his ninth NFL season, Sherman has hit the sweet spot of consistency by bringing his A-game to a top-10 defense.

LOL! Who, with an IQ of over 50, gives a flying phuck where a player was ranked at the BEGINNING of a season at this point in the season?? WOW! Just WOW!
Congrats on the dumbest thread of the Super Bowl. That's hard to do when Zebra has twenty useless threads
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Sherman usually finds a way to get into the spotlight during big games so I'm actually throwing a 50 on sherman for superbowl MVP at 100-1. Garropolo probably wont get it if they win since he may no pass much... so a great defensive game by sherman and a timely Pick-6 to win the game at the end and you've got your MVP!

This thread is actually hilarious since Sherman finished the season as PFF’s #1 rated corner. This is like posting combine grades on Mahomes rather than what he has actually done in the NFL. Looks pretty foolish.
How many votes did he get for Defensive Player of the Year 2019?

Whoever made this list is an absolute MORON ...TRE WHITE is easily in the top 2 ....Zero TDS allowed this season , had to be in the top 5 after last year ...
Agreed Tre Day is one of the Top 3 cornerbacks in the NFL

YOU used PFF stats to support and argument, and when I used the same source to show how stupid this thread is, you deflect to votes for defensive player of the year? Hilarious.

He's good for a 31 year old, his last interception was week 8, he's going to be a non-factor.
So, I guess we are going to just gloss over his interception in the playoffs against Minnesota now as well??We realize that you'll post anything to convince people that you are on the right side but come on now.At least check your facts before you spew nonsense
You should definitely bet the Sherman interception prop for the SuperBowl and make boatloads of cash if you are so confident!

The point he was making is that you cited incorrect facts. You were indeed wrong - own it and move on.

At no time did I ever mention an interest in taking a Richard Sherman prop.
