First of all there are no surprises in NFL. They are not going to get caught off guard by a third string QB. All teams have tape on everyone....even the practice squad players have some kind of game film on them. They have taken a look at him and have an idea of what to expect. Now, Will he play so well that they can't stop him? Possibly but, they will not be caught off guard.

needless to say, I’m disgusted as I now have to sweat out a game Washington has no business being in. Let me ask you this, if Rivera is such a good coach why didn’t he start this kid last week? Let me guess, he was ingenious enough to know they’d win without him and he could unleash his secret weapon this week.

They signed him on 12-8-20.

I am sure it took him a little time to get comfortable in the system but ultimately I think he is the better option. Also think the OC pushed for him.
