It feels like Cutler has either lost this team, or it's also possible that mother was trying to light a spark under his ass and get him to show some emotion and fight. Either way I believe Suumas main reasoning for liking them is more of a play vs the Dallas defense and a qb who still has no touchdowns. It's hard to cover more than a TD when a. Your D is weak, and b. Your offense isn't explosive. Other than dez Bryant who strikes fear into anyone on this Dallas offense?

Waynes was very erratic and Newman got worked a few times, A-Rod also had some nice runs. Will be hard for Waynes to contain Benjamin and Ginn can burn Newman, Cam will get his on the ground. Also got Olsen to open the middle. I thought Bradford was very impressive but there will naturally be some growing pains I think. Probably a matchup I'm sitting out.

I digged more into the SNF and what I started to absolutely love is the OVER. Both teams gonna start this game with weak defenses. Dak Prescott finally has to throw touchdowns and the Bears offense will overmatch the Boys defense on skill positions. Can see both teams scoring in the 20s easily. For the last three years, SNF games have gone over the total in 30 out of 46 games with an average total of 53.1. This total is set at 45 and was bet down to 44.5 with 84% of public support. If you see it from an NFL point of view: the only way to get attention on this game and push the ratings is by a lot of scores.

I think the score could have been much higher. They committed four turnovers and still won by 19.

Yes Jacoby Brissett is going to be quite a drop off. Unlike Garroppolo he hasn't been around this system very long and the only NFL action he's seen is in the second half of their preseason games. So he played against the 2nd and 3rd string defenses of the Saints, Bears, Panthers and Giants. only one of those teams has a good defense, 2 of them are putrid. I think you just have it in your head that Osweiler isn't good and you are determined to play against him to prove yourself right. If I remember correctly you wouldn't buy into Oakland last year and kept going against them when they were covering. Not criticizing you cuz I do the same thing when I get a theory in my head. (and you've been right about the Chargers improvement this year) But Osweiler is gong to play better than Brissett this week IMO.

I actually think the Pats could easily be 2-2 when Brady comes back, not 4-0 like some people think.

Good points made. Preseason doesn't really count for me, because for instance, Garoppolo always looked average or worse in the preseason and he led them to 2-0 over Cards and Dolphins. Brissett looked solid when thrown into the cold water on Sunday. If the Pats had kept their starters in, it would have been a 2nd half rout. Against Cardinals, you have seen some throws where the defense was completely useless. Pats just schemed their guys wide open. Right now, the public is around 60% on Texans with the line dropping to PK.

That Pats OL plays pretty well with Dante Scarneccia coaching them. Garoppolo had a lot of clean pockets in both games against what is considered a good pass rush.

Yeah in my head it's that Osweiler isn't good and there wasn't much on tape the first two weeks that proved me wrong. Now he plays against a really good defense on the road in a tough environment. The Pats pulled their starters in the 2nd half so they are fresh while the Texans had to fight until the last drive.

Perhaps Norv Turner is the quarterback whisperer that Sam Bradford has been lacking.....we'll find out a lot more when Carolina's defense comes a'callin'.

Agree about Peterson....not a big loss, as McKinnon will work out fine.  Panther's offense versus Vikes defense will be an awesome spectacle.  Gonna sit back and enjoy and learn some things.

Lovin' Chargers with ya.  How many defensive backs can the Colts go through?  They'll be going through the Arena League waiver wire to find guys pretty soon.

Yes, I made Vikings -1 on a neutral field. The perception is that the Panthers are the 15-1 team from last year while no one is questioning their schedule and the Vikings have "sloppy" Sam Bradford starting. Bradford is completely underrated and on all 22 positions and the coaching staff, this team is better than the Panthers in my opinion.

Adrian Peterson is completely overrated on this Vikings team. Fantasy guys will call me crazy but it's a true fact if you watch their games. Everyone sees his total yards but he needs to run out of under center but this offense needs shotgun to succeed. His total yards are simply a product of the Vikings "wanting" him to run. In 2014, Jared McKinnon ran for 5.2 yards per carry (top-3 was it i guess) and 11.5% DVOA (6th). Peterson ran for 2.2% DVOA last year. McKinnon was much more efficient in this offense than Peterson is.

Seems crazy that they would pull starters that early or not bring them back in, considering Fins were inside the Pats 30 with with a chance to tie the game at the end.

Ya, but do you really think they will stack the box? I don't really believe they will. I say Bradford is good for a pick or two in this matchup, and that will ultimately decide the game. I see Carolina winning by 7 exactly. Either way, BOL bro. Also, Dolphins will cover the -10...as a Phins fan who has watched every Dolphins game since 2001, this is a game I'm confident they cover. We play the Browns every couple of years, and we usually tend to beat them by double digit points. Phins have their number. Plus, it's our home opener in the newly upgraded stadium, crowd will be on our side and loud for once, and we tend to do well in home openers.

Not sure about the Bears but I'll definitely won't put money on Brissett. He looked terrible against the Dolphins, they almost made it back from a 24 point lead with him.

Texans or nothing depending on the line move.

I see the Houston patriots discussion. I'm leaning very hard toward the under. My only concern there is that it is a Thursday night game. All eyes on a low scoring game....not sure.

Miami is 3-7 SU/ATS in their last 10 home openers including a 14-41 drubbing vs. the Bills in last year's opener.    

Miami has been a double digit favorite only twice in 10 seasons (last time was in 2008 vs. Oakland) and are 1-1 SU and 0-2 ATS in those games.

Since 2005 Miami is 1-4 SU/ATS vs. Cleveland.

Jesus Christ man, did you even look into this matchup at all?  It took me all of 5 mins to fact check.

Whats Cutlers status? If hes out, I think Dallas can contain a lackluster Bears O....they held their own vs Eli and the Giants. Prescott will probably get 2 or 3 td passes....
