What Is the ideal super bowl for the NFL

Peyton Manning gets a chance to beat  dads old team. How uncomfortable of a game would it be for Archie ?

Once again, you said it would bore you, I wonder why? Maybe because you're a Jets fan? The league would pop champagne bottles if it were to be Saints-Colts! To people who don't watch the NFL on a regular basis this game would be interesting because it would most likely be a shoot out, people who don't watch that much football do not want to see a defensive struggle. Give me a break.

No matter what happens in the nfc and afc championship games the nfl has to be happy...  they got a new york team which is always good because of the big market, peyton manning who the public loves, brett favre who is god according to the national media, and new orleans who are still rebuilding from katrina.... there are plenty of storylines to go around 

The Vikings vs. either team.  You either have Favre vs. Manning or Favre vs. old team/NY market.

I personally hope the Vikings dont make it just so i dont have to listen about favre anymore

if you dont want to hear about favre anymore then you should root for him...the only way he retires this year is if he gets another ring

for the NFL purist, who is looking for an exciting matchup, the best case would be Colts - Saints or Colts - Vikings... but the Super Bowl is a glamour event... the NFL doesn't make it's money off the every day NFL fan on the Super Bowl... if that was the case they would get no more ratings than a late season matchup of undefeateds on primetime...

the NFL makes its money on the Super Bowl by reeling in the fair weather fan... every true NFL fan is going to be watching regardless... but if they want every dick and mary who don't know shit about football to be watching this game... the ONLY one that will do that is Vikings - Jets...

 

and i want to add... the guy who said "It's Colts-Saints and anyone who says otherwise needs to have their heads checked"... needs to have his head checked... seriously!  this is a no-brainer... it's not even contestable...
