Former NFL ref Terry McAulay wrote on Twitter that two of the defensive holding calls on Kansas City probably shouldn't have been called because they didn't come "close to the standard" that officials had been using for defensive holding all season.

"I was very surprised [at all the penalties]" Jones said, via Pro Football Talk. "This is the Super Bowl. Usually you let the guys play, especially in the biggest game of the year. Penalties can change the game."
"I mean, penalties cost the game either way," Jones said. "Only the referees can call the penalties. So the penalties affect the game 1,000 percent. What can I say? We had a lot of penalties called on us today."

Did the same. Even tossed a little on TB +3 and covered the lost vig. They were all legit penalties, but they let that stuff go for both sides most of the time. The Refs set like 5 Super Bowl records for penalties in the 1H. Little obvious there...

I knew the game was over when I posted my picks, among them: Bucs +3 and Bucs ML
I also explained thoroughly WHY. With no IFs.
Sometimes it is written all over the wall

When "KillaTrav" started holding out his arms looking for flags...what a fukkin sad face...and when "Honey Badger" started throwing up his arms because his teammates in the secondary couldn't cover TB receivers. Game, set match.

Yup. Andy Reid really did his legacy a solid with this one. Wasn't that part of your "argument." Lose the war to win the battle. That is some contrarian thinking right there.

It felt very much like a college bowl game where it is obvious at the start which team is going to win. Took TB -4.5 live at +105 after their first TD and -7.5 after the 2nd which more than covered my Chiefs future bet that I had on since September. The only bets I made pregame were on longshots to score 1st TD and somehow Gronk was 14/1 so I snapped that up along with Brady at 20/1 (he does sneak sometimes) and CEH at 9/1 and Robinson 28/1.
I didn't feel even nervous with the live bets despite KCs record of comebacks in the playoffs. You can't come back when there is no time to throw, you're behind and can't run (coach hates running anyway) and you keep getting penalties on offense and defense at the worst times. And when the other team has the GOAT.
But I'd say the moment I suspected strongly t was over was when they didn't have a good drive after the goal line stop and the punter shanked it. That was when I put the first bet in. And then the offsides call turn to TD was officially good night.

So you can retire now? Threw your whole life savings, vehicles, mortgage on the game? I mean you sound pretty confident and there was no question of validity. Frankly? I’m surprised you came back to the forum after winning your millions. Have time to tell us peasants about your arrogance and confidence on the game you know?

I got a bridge to sell you that spans from the US to England. Want to buy it? Conspiracy. You’re a fool if you think for one second all 32 teams are different from one another. That the dynasties of Brady and Bucs win weren’t scripted. This is the same as WWE. If it’s different? Prove it! Because I can prove it.

When i witnessed Davonte Adams grabbed and held all game by the BUCS secondary without a single penalty, the writing was on the wall.

He he. The argument was quite opposite: lose the battle to win the war. Well, the clock control said it all. If you paid an attention to details and close ups - you know what I am talking about. And you - you are about the details according to great articles and data you always make sure to post to help the avarage Joe to become Super Mario of handicapping

Yeah. The NFL decided to make New England with a 6th round pick QB nobody heard of a dynasty, instead of the most popular franchises like the Packers, Bears, Steelers, Cowboys, and Niners. Makes total sense. WWE for sure.
Prove it.

My brother, although, I'm not sure how did I offend you - I apologize if I did. If my post seemed to you arrogant - please help yourself by looking up my thread and you will understand that there was no sarcasm in my statement and I was not being cynical at all.
I really brought certain contrarian arguments that have to do with human nature and ego of those involved in a game and I have been doing so from the beginning of my handicapping journey.
I never mentioned millions I made or didn't make. That is not my style.
May be you're confusing me with someone else.

@wizard1183
You know what? You wanna know the precise moment I knew the Bucs were gonna win it? Here you go: the precise moment 14allall41 posted his picks - 7 of them - I knew the Bucs were gonna lift the trophy. Because all but two picks had to do with them winning parts of it, covering and winning it all. The other two were the time of the first score and the totals. So, knowing 14allall41 - he is the last person you can accuse of being arrogant. I don't even know why did you lash at him while he is even more contrarian than you are. But, for the record - you were out of line doing that

You're number one capper on Covers and overall IMO.
BTW, those interested to know - wrighthebright went 3-1 on Super Bowl at pregame dot com and is leading their totals contest overall, is 8th in sides and totals altogether and he's there only for two weeks or so. Great job Covers banning him

Prove it? And when or if I do? You’re probably too fucking illiterate and lazy to read through the factual evidence I’d provide and come back with some rhetoric bs that that isn’t enough proof because you’re too damn naive.
Many times this has been proven. And my fav analogy? You know when someone dies and you’re standing in front of the casket they’re laying in but yet you don’t believe they died? That’s what equates more often than not. Ppl believe what they WANT to believe and not what is actually in front of them. For instance YouTube videos. Like as if the video is manipulated and bs. Tell me your thoughts on this video. Before I just go throwing FACTUAL info that most morons will pass off because they refuse to read mounds of info: YouTube 2010 redskins bucs 5 downs. Spread was Bucs -1....
give me your inside on it

KC had a chance to be down 1 score at halftime with the ball to start 2nd half but dumbassed time outs by KC gave TB chance for another td which they gladly took---so it was over at halftime for me I turned it off
