Why Would Jay Cutler Ever Start Again?

  As a Bears fan, I will be mad if Cutler gets his job back..I don't care about the money, McCown has outplayed Cutler by a wide margin this season. Long term who knows, but you ride the hot hand, and that;s McCown..Going back to Cutler now would be a mistake..

Remember McCown is 1-3 as a starter

moneymatters, you must not have watched many Bears games this season..I'm strictly talking on field performance..Cutler won games at the start of the season with a fully healthy defense...McCown is playing with 5 back-ups on defense..You can do the math there as far as the 1-3 record....

I watch ever game twice!

Up to this week the red zone offense as been horrid. Reason why? 
McCown does not have the arm for a compressed field. 

He has been impressive night tho. 

Cutler is the Qb for this team and Offense

Cutler has not played with a full and health Defense either.

I said it from the start, Cutler is a bum and the Bears are better off without him....

 

Moneymatters.....

You state they are 1-3 with McCown as a starter.....please state 1 of those games they lose because of McCown and not the defense giving up 30+

never did like cutler too cocky .... I would trade him take the draft picks and draft a new guy to play under mccown

Cutler is such a pansy, they need to develop McCown into their new starter.

Stats don't matter. Points do.

Red zone offense was putrid.

First 20 pts against Minnesota even after they lost their best DB, is disgusting.

McCown was extremely timid when pressure came and missed comebacks and middles with low passes. Possession just before regulation ended was juvenile. 

Don't get me wrong, McCown has been great for a back up but this is Cutlers Offense and that was the OP's original inquiry.

Point forgot 350 was with Jeffrey got straight OFF. it wasn't McCown's throws but Jeffrey's ability.

Cutler would have 6 picks tonight....guy is awful and a turnover machine

McCown might not go out and win every game, but he wont lose a game like Cutler does more often than not

Someone has to throw the ball in a spot to give only his WR a chance at a catch....

Cutler loves throwing it where the other team can catch it

Im a Packers fan, I hope the Bears start Cutler....he will lose 2 of the 3 remaining games if he starts...maybe all 3

He won't be starting for the Bears next year IMO. McCown playing great in this system for Tressman and the Bears will not be willing to pay Cutler what he "thinks" he is worth.

Cutler is one of the toughest QB's in the league. If you thing otherwise then watch more Chicago games you will see.

He will start again because that is the Bears M.O.

Just like he started at 80% vs. Detroit after McCown got a win in GB.

Cutler shoulda sat. Even after half when he hurt his ankle and was down to 40%

Yeah ok

Lets ignore his 26 ints in 2009 and 16 in 2010.....

Of course he is in the bottom half in INTS the next 3 years...he missed 6 games in 2011 and almost half this year

In his ONLY full season since 2010, he had 19tds and 14ints with a 58% comp %...not impressive AT ALL
