Totally agree Van, I didnt think anybody could coach as stupid as atlanta coach in SB where they basically handed brady a free ring, but staley did it.

If you do this long enough... Sometimes you get it exactly right and still lose.

It’s an even worse feeling for true fans of the Chargers like me who have been suffering for many years. Too many, over 30 years a fan and have been dealing with agonizing defeat over and over again.

Staley has been a fraud since last season. I have been calling for his head for boneheaded decisions which others have labeled as calculated aggression.

I will continue to wear these scars can’t change loyalty, Chargers and Blazers fan til the end.

The idea of being a fan, while at the same time being a gambler - is totally a foreign concept for me.  I dont understand it.

All of the life force of being a fan was sucked out of me at an early age when I started placing bets.

But I hear you.  The fans of the Chargers deserve better.

Personally, I literally dont care - and think people who let the outcome of a sports team affect their lives when they have no financial interest in that outcome are pathetic.

'My' team is the Las Vegas Raiders. A few weeks ago, I was ALL over the LAR and was happy as a clam when Baker rammed it in and twisted it off. I literally could care one bit if the Raiders won or lost that game as long as LAR covered.

Similarly, I had the Raiders earlier in the year when they were 8 pt or so dogs in KC. The Raiders blew the game but covered easily and 1,0000,000 our 100 times I would rather take the ATS cover over the SU win.

I am the same.  And agree.  But remember being a kid?  Thats what Susan was talking about.  Just that romantic feeling of going to a game with your dad.

You can be you and me and still have the feeling Susan has.

I remember many a summer night as a kid, laying on my bed, tossing up a baseball and catching it with my glove, while listening to Vin Scully on the AM radio on my nightstand calling the 9th inning of a Dodger's game. I remember the elation of late inning come back victories and the deflation of a blow save. The love and passion I had for MLB as a kid was indescribable. There was a time that I could probably rattle of the height and weight of every active player on an MLB roster. Today, I would hard pressed to name 10 guys that play in MLB right now.

But all that changed when I grew older and realized that most of these fuckers see this as their 9-5. Once these assholes and their corporate overlords started beating the political and cultural drum, thats when I lost all love and passion as a fan. Now, I look at them as purely a means to grind out a monetary profit on. I dont care if they win or lose, as long as my preferred ATS outcome is achieved.
