Packers "haters" are great.....
I will take the guy on track to win 2 superbowls in his 1st 4 years starting
Someone with much better numbers and only going to improve
You can have Manning and his 9-19 PLAYOFF record

Maybe Manning redefined game-managing football, but what Rodgers has done and is doing, is also redefining the QB position today. What he has done these last 16 games and will continue to do, HAS NEVER been done before. Even just his almost 73% Completions has never been close to be touched my Manning or Brady

This is a conversation better placed for people outside of Indy and Wisconsin -
That said, I obviously have to go with Peyton - he covers up for inadaquecies all over the place. I am sick and tired of the ring argument - fact of the matter is, if the Colts had a better defense and more balanced offense I believe they would have won more rings then 1 to this point with Manning -
In the playoffs - you are playing top rated teams week in and week out! The year the Colts won - the D stepped up and played to a much higher level then anyone was used to seeing. All the other years - Manning had to compensate for their deficiencies. That is much harder to do week in and out against playoff caliber teams.
In addition - the Colts twice had the opportunity for perfect seasons, but management felt personal records were more important then the team and sat players after milestones.
I realize many of hte Colts are nearer the end of their career - but this year speaks a lot to what I have always thought, that the Colts talent is not as good as everyone says it is - Manning has made everyone around him better. If these guys had the talent level they have shown in years past - they would not rank in the bottom three in many main statistical categories and would be able to catch lightening in a bottle for at least one game - but without the catalyst, they are showing their true talent in my opinion -

Yeah, playoffs are a whole new animal. I guess that is why Rodgers is struggling so much
1st start in the playoffs, his team lost on the road 51-45 but he was 28-42 422 yds and 4 td 1 int....In HIS FIRST START
Next season, in just his 3rd year as a starter, he beat the #3 seed on the road, #1 seed on the road, #2 seed on the road, then #2 Steelers on the road He had 69% comp and 9 tds 2 ints
I can see why Manning is only 9-19 in the playoffswith probably half those games at home
Rodgers is 4-1 68% with 13 tds 3 Ints....ALL ON THE ROAD
Stop making excuses....find me a qb with numbers like that on the road in his first 5 playoff games

.500 QB in the playoffs, he is 9-19
With I am guessing atleast 10 home games.....
Rodgers is 4-1 with 5 ROAD games

Peyton is one of the greatest players(not just QBs) of all time. he was ranked top 10 of all time greats.. How anyone can take rodgers over peyton is ridiculous. yes rodgers is amazing but comparing peytons field of work with rodgers and its not even close.

im not a packers hater at all, im a big fan.. i have a rodgers jersey and was incredibly thankful to the packers for winning me a ton of money in last years playoffs too...
BUT, i have to give credit were it is due, manning is one of the alltime greats and rodgers is still young..
Lets wait at least 10 years before we say rodgers is better than peyton..

And i agree with people that say you cant compare ring totals...
You CANNOT use ring totals as the main measuring stick because if we were, he would be ahead of peyton and rodgers.. BEN has 2 Superbowl rings and lost 1 superbowl... He won 1 i think in his rookie year too so could we of said after his 1st rookie year he was better than a lot of hall of famers?? Lets be realistic guys...

peyton makes guys look SOOOO much better than they actually are.. And just look at how great the colts are this year w/o manning, a lot of those guys were probowlers with manning there and now they look like scrubs..

9-19? LOL Im a rodgers fan more than i am a manning fan but come on man. Manning is 9-10 in the playoffs, not 9-19 like u say.. and like i said if we are comparing playoffs then Big Ben would of crushed both guys because u compare rings and ben has 2 and those two other guys have 1 each... Ben won a superbowl in his 2nd year, and has 3 superbowl appearances and won 2 rings. And he is 10-3 in the playoffs, not 100% sure though. And his overall W-L record in the reg season has to be much better than rodgers too so you cant always go by W-L records, or rings, and so on. Of course it does help but its not the be all end all.

Yeah...I clicked the button wrong....He is 9-10, but take away his 4-0 year they won the Superbowl he is only 5-10 in the playoffs...
For as great as he is, should be much better than that
Either way, 9-10 is BAD for a "great" qb
