2) go ask any QB or coach that is in the Hall of Fame right now this same question... YOU WILL NOT GET ONE PERSON SAYING AARON RODGERS IS BETTER THAN MANNING RIGHT NOW... not ONE!!!
i promise you! not one person among the greatest QBs and coaches of all time would give you a yes on that... that's a given! so how do you guys think you know more than them?
Who says your opinion is right???
Who said superbowl is comparison for which is better????
But, you can look at playoff and superbowl records to help the argument.
The question was who would you rather have. People have their answers.
Why cant you look at stats??
If someone says who would you rather have to lead a comeback with 2 minutes left and you can pick QB A or QB B....
QB A has 9 comeback victories and QB B has 0....who would you pick????
People say Rodgers is still young and bla bla bla,
I explained why I would rather have Rodgers. I am not even saying Rodgers is better, but if I had to pick I would take Rodgers.
If you football brains actually want to come on here and say Manning had NO weapons that is a fricken joke.
Harrison is one of the best wr of all-time. Wayne was his #2 wr for years, HIS NUMBER 2. Oh, and he had a great runningback with James and a great tight-end with Clark. So, to say Manning had no weapons is a joke.
To say Manning is clutch and Rodger isnt, doesnt make sense. I dont consider a 9-10 playoff QB clutch. If Im wrong thats fine. But, that isnt clutch to me.
Rodgers is 4-1 in the playoffs, all on the road. If that isnt clutch, I dont know what clutch is.
You say stats dont matter, but some do.
As GREAT as Manning has been, has he ever completed 73% of passes in 1 season?? No, he hasnt even had 68%.
He played half his games in a dome under perfect weather. Against a weaker division.
Rodgers plays atleast 20% of his games in weather colder than freezing with snow.
I never said Rodgers was better, but they way he is playing right now has never be seen.
Another reason, why I Rodgers, is because Manning cant move back there.
Rodgers has had, and will have many more big 1st downs or TD runs.
The number arent there yet, and the years arent there yet, but if he continues to play this way for the next 4-5 years, he will go down as being better than Manning.
If you dont agree thats fine. Who cares. There is not a correct answer. Atleast not yet.
But, to say you cant look at stats thats a joke.
If I want a clutch QB, I want someone who wins in the playoffs, not in the regular season. 9-10 in the playoffs is NOT CLUTCH
