The year the Manning won the super-bowl...HE PLAYED THREE HOME GAMES....he didnt even score a td agains the Ravens...they won 15-6...they beat the chiefs the game before giving up 8 pionts...The defense gave up 14 points the 2 games....yeah Manning had to do everything to win that

Here is how he did in those playoffs...

Game 1-HOME against KC...Manning had 3 picks The Chiefs had 126 TOTAL yards....Manning for sure carried his team

Game 2- @ Balt...COlts won 15-6 on 5 FIELD GOALS....3 of which were set up by defense or punt returns....Manning carried them that game too

Game 3...AT HOME AFC Championship...must be nice to be at home for the 2nd time and in title game...he had a great comeback in the 2nd half after throwing pick TDS....he cameback becauseof his mistakes....

Superbowl....Against the GREAT BEARS offense and REx Grossman...Manning was so great that he was 25-38 AND A WHOOPING 1 TD....The Colts RAN THE BALL for 197 YARDS....Pretty sure Rex had 4 TO's including a pick 6....

Last question to those talking about how bad the Colts are, and how Clark and Wayne are terrible and were ONLY good because of Manning.

Have any of you actually WATCHED their games this year???  or just going off their stats???

Ive WATCHED almost every game.  Wayne and Clark are still very good.  They are wide open and open 85% of the time.  The ball does not get to them.  There is nothing they can do when the ball is rolling to them or 5 yds from them.

To say they were only good because manning is a fricken joke.  They would be pro-bowlers with half a qb.   They are still some of the best at their position.  They are open all the time, but Painter shouldnt even be in the NFL.

If you want to say Wayne and Clark were only good because of Manning please stop calling yourself a football fan and acting like you have football knowledge, because you are clueless

Manning DIDNT win his teams superbowl for them.  He is 9-10 in the playoffs.  His team was winning his division YEAR AFTER YEAR having home-field in the playoffs.

The question was who would you rather have??  I feel as Great as Manning was, he had SO MANY chances to do more than he did.  He was GREAT in the regular season, but when it came to the playoffs he FAILED.

You all can say his teams werent good and they had no defense.  BUT YOURE WRONG.  I showed the year he won his ring, his defense have up 11, YES 11 points ppg. 

He had home game after home game in the playoffs and went 9-10.

He had GREAT talent around him.

He never sniffed completing 73% of his passes for a season, playing 50%+ of his games indoors against shitty divisions. 

He couldnt run for a big 1st to change momentum. 

He is the smartest QB to ever play the game and changed the way teams had to play defense.

But, if I was building a team for the next 5-7 years, I would take a QB with the skills of Rodgers over Manning.

Cause yes, from their stats they look like awful players.  But, if you actually watch their games you would feel sorry for them, becuase they are doing everything they did with Manning, but they arent getting the ball.
