NOTHING TO PLAY FOR? You don't know the implications, you shouldn't be showing your ignorance...
If the Saints win and the 49ers lose, the Saints get a bye and a home game... last I checked, the Saints are an entirely different team at home vs on the road...
Yes, it would take a mini-miracle for the Rams to beat the 49ers, but hey, the Rams beat the Saints in St Louis.... the Chiefs beat the Packers.... anything can happen. Brees will be playing this week because they have a lot to play for!
You are right,I forgot they were tied

Ehhh I had the under second half, and would still say the saints did the right thing. They had 5 minutes left I'm not sure what they were supposed to do there? Granted they were up by 22 points, but it's not exactly like Atlanta was conceding victory when they went for it on 4th down. If they punted it a whole different story he would have got the 30 yards he needed and they would had run the time off and I would have won lol

I hate the crap people are giving teams that just keep playing the game.
The Patriots, Packers and Saints all are playing until the last minute and that is the way it should be. NFL players are professionals, it is no charity. If they do not want to lose by 40 points they should step up and learn to play the game instead of crying that the other team kept playing.
Brees did the right thing, so did Brady a few weeks ago when it was a few seconds to go and a 4th down on the 1-yard line. Just keep playing.
Makes it easier to bet on those teams too.

The NFL is suppose to be about being a professional, not in just skill level but acting like a professional in the sense of life. The NFL take pride in teaching young kids the right way to do things. If this was a high school game and a team was up by 22 with 2 mins left and it was your kid on the field you would fucking livid when the other team goes in for the kill and scores again in a game that is over. So what is the difference here? The difference is that this is the NFL and they should be setting a higher standard of class and teaching these kids its not about personal records its about your team and doing things the right way in life. I get it there was a defense on the field and Atl should've tried harder but there was ZERO reason for Orleans to drive and score.
I hope you are were joking when you wrote this. if you or anyone for that matter, actually looks to the NFL players to be role models for your kids, you're crazy.
I actually was wondering why someone would be so offended that they went for it. It was THE ONLY REASON I watched the whole game. It's not NO's fault that Atlanta's defense couldnt stop them. They knew they were going to throw (or at least they should have) and they still couldn't stop them.
I am not a Pat's fan, but I find it comical when people make the same comments about Brady. If you dont like it, stop'em. I am pretty sure the players on the defense get paid to play also.............

4everyoung bro, some of these guys are right it aint that big of a deal to get worked up about. But I sure am suprised at how many people are fighting you on this. It is amazing I turn on ESPN, I turn on my local radio station, I go on cbs and yahoo's website and everyone is saying this was not a classy way to do this. Yet everyone acts like we are idiots. That is when you just say fuck it! It aint a battle worth fighting. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and we all shall agree to disagree.
Iceman are you kidding, professional athletes are held to very high standards to set examples for the young. I mean really??? Am I fucking retarded? Its like I am the only one who see's certain things.
