the game was lost when boyd dropped a first down catch late in game.it looked like the replay of welker dropping a easy pass against the giants.both plays cost both sb.

He was gonna be a yard or 2 short though, DB was right on him for the tackle.
Most shocking/inept thing for me was the Bengals didn't use a single screen play. Would have torched the pass rush. Total whiff on their part.

Agree that was a huge drop

Absolutely...I was thinking Micon would catch at least 4+ screens in the 2nd half

i don’t think double up is one of those guys that only calls fixed after a loss, he’s been pretty consistent - although I don’t see it at all, refs gave both teams a gift - no clear favoring. Bengals biggest mistake was punching Donald in the face at the end of a play (not flagged)… you don’t poke the beast - after that he was unleashed. The best player on the field won the game for the rams on the last two plays, bengals had the opportunity

Nfl is real shady ..
Making this game close by all means necessary was the plan imo ..
Huge money for the NFL

The bengals running Perine was so egregious when you look at perine’s effort to make the first down and only needing one yard. He allowed the defensive tackle to hold him in place while on the ground and also using his left hand to hold the offensive lineman in place. It’s truly remarkable how Perine doesn’t get the first down considering the circumstances it took to prevent it. Just a total clusterfuck of bad bad play calling in the final 25 minutes of the game. I would compare the choke similar to the one the Seahawks gave vs New England.

Here is the comment i was looking for... I had Bengals +4.5 and both of my parlays won and i can 100% tell you all sports are fixed... The fact you still live in la la land thinking these games are real is concerning... They dont even look real anymore... I bet you believe OBJ tore his ACL as well... No way they would fake that....

Just curious, presupposing the NFL is all “scripted”, what are your guys’ theories on how not one person (former player, ref, disgruntled NFL executive) has come forward to expose the games being fixed?
Off the top of my head, Tim Donaghy is the only ref (NBA) to admit he was tampering with the games for gambling purposes, and he was clearly not working in cahoots with the league.

@Mangowoman
Why would anyone come forward? At best, they would be discredited as liars and their lives would be ruined.
The NFL is not sport, it is entertainment. The NFL wants to make as much money as possible, not have the fairest competition. Their TV partners and the advertisers want the same thing.

Money is everything to the world's richest sports entertainment business.....
NFL hasn't been a fairly contested sport in more than 2 decades imo ....
Close the season with 7 games that came down to the final plays is HHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for all parties involved

Are you saying every game is manipulated or just certain games?
And who specifically is involved, besides certain refs? ie: Cleat the Cheat

Why complain about making 6 or 7 digits a year, even if you lose?

@thorpe
You’re saying not one disgruntled ex player or ref or employee would ever come forward even if they had proof? How would their lives be ruined if they’ve already lost their job, pension etc? Is the NFL gonna put a hit on them?

Exactly what I am saying. If you are powerful enough to fix an NFL game then a ref or other whistleblower can have a heart attack or get into a car accident and no one is asking questions. And there is no proof....it is just one TV executive or NFL Vice President saying he wouldn't mind it if the Rams won a close game. Are you going to blow the whistle based on this???? It is not like you have video/audio/written proof, and good like finding a corroborating witness....also the refs cover their -sses by giving Cinci a very obvious non-call TD, a "reasonable" person will say both sides got gifted 7 points...but the difference is the 7 points are worth a lot more in the final minute of the game than in the 3rd quarter.
And the Rams got 2 or 3 calls in the last minute, one worse than the next....plus Cincy weird play calling...Cincy was happy to be there.

I was an NFL apologist for a long time, why would they script it, blah blah blah...but there was a Steelers TD on a BS last second funble return that the refs inexplicably took off the board. That 1 play really made me question the NFL.
Watch an old game...there are half as many refs, no instant replay, yet the refs always call very good games - every once in a while there will be a bad call and it will stand out. Now the refs get it wrong routinely after reviewing it for 5 minutes. After a while people become numb to constant bad calls.
I am a Bills fan. The end of the KC game did not sit right with me....why did Bellicheck go to the Bills lockerroom after the game? There is no love between him and the Bills...was it to give the Bills a "deal"? Maybe they lose vs KC but win in 1 SB down the road??? Or maybe they lose to KC and get nothing because the Bills aren't in the inner circle?
