Well sir...I am on all of those series plays except for the Sens...no play on that series. Instead...I have the Flamers.

Like the selection Lipps. Really wanted to take the Sens, but sometimes I believe in experience. Can't understand the Rags line. Jumped to -245 earlier then has steadily declined to -210 again. Just can't see what people see in the Pens.

I like how you put that little warning on your Ducks pick.  I agree mostly with your thinking that the books odds are partially determined by public perception.  So with the Ducks line being soooo low considering they are Western conference champions (the stronger of the 2 conferences) are you saying the books think the public will side with the Jets?  The Eastern conference champs line is set at -200 or more as you know.

Danger I really do think that.  The Jets are the darlings right now and the Ducks have just been treading water. (You see what I did there, Ducks...water.....ahem) OK, time to get back to geeky puck talk.  The books are leaning to Jets money, which BTW, has come in a bit and also just pure stat wise I think this line should be lower.  Personally I think this line should be around -125 for the Ducks.

Stubborn I am in the words of Yoda. I am picking the Ducks where I said they would be the West champs, but really I am doubting they make to the conference finals. In the back of my mind and maybe hoping, they turn the switch on in the playoffs. But really, how often does a Bruce Boudreau coached team get past the 2nd round and how often have the Ducks gotten past the 2nd round.  (Loud buzzer sound)

Here is a nice behind the scenes interviews.  For those younger guys here, besides the bigger name actors all the players were actual hockey players and a few of the characters were based on actual players. 

And yes, it's how it used to be for the most part.
