You guys actually proved my point. Why should a team in the 2nd largest market in the country have to wait almost 20 years for a legitimate superstar? Shouldn't the Kings have been able to draw someone of importance in the past couple decades?
It's about putting butts in the seats and they do it. The Kings have stars, It's just I posted the top tier ones. The Kings are about mid-way attendence wise, above......ahem...... the Oilers....Yeah I know......They have a smaller arena and are at 100%
But hell.....The Sharks outdraw the Bruins.....slightly.......so I guess we should get rid of the B's also......
It's about getting the product out to the most people. Yeah, there are a few teams that could be moved. I hate it when I see teams in the warm weather spots being bashed just because they are just supposed to be in cold weather spots or Canada.
Yes the Yotes should go.......even though they are playing very well this year.....The Isles should move, but they have a jackass for an owner......
Atlanta is getting in the same boat......
But look at the Avs......A colder weather team that is playing well and they are getting shit for attendence.
I would like to see the Yotes go to Hamilton and another team to to mid Canada somewhere. I never see this mentioned, so I 'm guessing the population just isn't there.

Kings also have this kid named Drew Doughty. Have you heard of him? After watching him in this tourney i'm not only convinced he'll be a perennial norris trophy candidate but may end up being one of the best defensemen of all time. This kid does it all.
Been watching him and the rest of the Kings all season. Looking forward to the rest of this season and the playoff run as well.

Gotta be the Hawks and the Sharks will finally put together a playoffs run. I think it could be this year. I believe the Wings have to face facts and rebuild finally instead of reloading.

Hamilton is right up there with population with many of the US cities. Actually quite surprising when you look at the true numbers. Like I said Lippsman, the Kings have been more than respectable as far as attendance goes, and haven't put out a terrible product in quite a few years. I would be perfectly fine in my new theory to put them ahead of the Islanders.

One thing I don't understand is why a city like Toronto only has one team.I know the group that owns the Leafs has a contract with the NHL to have exclusive rights to the Toronto area and thus a monopoly, but with such a large population and the high cost of Leafs season tickets it would make sense to have another NHL team in the city itself and also have another team in nearby Hamilton or Oshawa or Mississauga.
In soccer, the city of London has 14 professional clubs playing within the English football league,of which 4 are in the Premier League and in the past, up to 7 or 8 clubs have played in the top division at the same time, all from London.Could you imagine the NHL with 7 teams from New York or Los Angeles.

Which is why I added Buffalo in as part of the 12 team USA Conference!!
How you been Double? T.O. stay or go? Think Miller can keep up this hot streak for the Sabes in the regular season?
Sorry that Comment was meant for the Above poster who said the US should just have the Orignal teams
Good to hear from You Brother
Thinking TO will Go(not His Fault the QB's and O-Line are a Joke ).... The Bills need Major Help everywhere.... they are about 13-17 Players away from Winning a Playoff game ...
Miller Better stand on his head vs Finland Today ... I have a Horrible feeling about This Game ... The Sabres Young Defense was Breaking down before the Break... Hopefully the Time off will help
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!
