Loving this play. Pens beat the Leafs the last 3 meeting at home but 2 of those victories required extra time.

Jimmy, they are putting Reimer in. Could mean a bit more score. He's not played in a game since March 23rd, 2012...

Hope you scaled back on the Pens play

Reminded me of the Avs Vs Jackets back end of last year.

Colorado needed to win at home to keep their playoff chances alive and the Jackets were just skating around for a pay check with swiss cheese Mason in goal.

Next thing you know it ended Jackets 6-1 or 3-0 something like that...You can never tell the outcome for sure

5-2, spanked the pens on their own ice...they dominated the sabres last game too, miller was incredible in net and that was the only reason they didnt win that game....if they keep this up, there are going to make the playoffs with ease

Whitepuma, I did scale back the play, bigtime. And I thanked you in my pick thread. I lost about $20 on them. So I'm good. I was going to go a lot larger. I learned a good lesson last night.

I did notice the mention in the original write up

Had a feeling those Leafs would come up big...Didnt expect such a wide margin however lol

I like them tonight also minus the fatigue factor,I feel they realise the importance of every game and will be up for the Islanders and ready for them tonight

My best friend is a Leaf supporter and my girlfriend supports the Penguins so its always a laugh...Just a shame we all had work today otherwise we would have stayed up to watch it

Yeah its only NHL I like but it can be a pain.

Its only 3 nights out of 9 that I cant stay up to watch the games so thats not too bad

I have not made them yet. I am reading hockey news from last night at the moment. But I did look at the card and lots of good looking stuff. I will check on matchups and player news this afternoon. But yeah, would love for you to check out my picks. This is my first year of capping after moving from Canada a dozen years ago, when I dabbled in betting what is called 'pro-line' there (which blows next to what we now have online).

I am doing picks for the NHL capping competition, strictly for fun. I rifled through every game with a gut feel pick in about 40 seconds. So you can check that out and see my leans.

What I need to do is start picking my spots and placing less wagers. If you look at my stats in my pick threads, I am killing myself on player and team props. Betting far more for fun than with my head, and it's hurting my bottom line. I have done ok just making game picks, until last night. I have to get away from the thrill of action for action's sake.

Ah gotcha. It's much easier for us to catch your sports. We can watch soccer in the afternoon, or on Saturday mornings. Can you record the games too? How are they carried over there? Or do you have to watch online?

As a side note, where are you from? My brother in law is from London (lives in San Fran now - next door to Joe Thornton actually, lol). And my beloved 2nd cousins are in Ireland.

I am exactly the same,I had some success with 4 team parlays last year but I promised myself I would stick to single plays this year and that is what I have done...Although I do find myself placing more wagers than neccesary just for the sake of it.

From next month I will eliminate that issue also.

Im originally from just outside London,Moved away to a county or as you would say "state" called Devon which is in the South west of England...Much nicer place to live London is over rated

This year a channel named premier sports has bought the rights to the NHL in the UK but they only show 15 games per week and they dont even have a HD channel!!!!! And its £15 a month

So in the UK we sign up for NHL Game Center but we dont get any game which is being broadcast by premier sports which is total bull shiiit considering premier sports will have alot of the best playoff games aswell

Ah cool. I bet it's awesome. You have no idea how I would love to love to live in England or Ireland. Been to both places. And the pubs are out of this world. You guys are spoiled ROTTEN in that aspect, and in many more. You don't know how badly it sucks here in comparison. But I'm in the country with horses, goats. chickens and land - with a pole barn bar - so that makes up for it some...

I'd say you'd be pretty happy if it were not for them blacking out games. It must be much nicer watching even standard def on TV than on a computer, or feeding the TV with gamecenter. But £15 a month? That is pretty steep. Maybe if it takes off with more viewership the rates will drop?

I suffer from lack of HD here too for many of my Leaf games. I have to get Center Ice here in the states to watch, and there is still no deal in place for TML broadcasts to be shown on Center Ice in HD. So it's SD for me until that is sorted, unless I luck out with an opponents' HD channel - in which case I miss my homer's call.

Tonights line is very fishy vs the Islanders. It is a pickem game  after the performance last night. The public will be all over the Leafs. This has trap line written all over.

Leafs on paper should win especially at home but I am staying away or wager a small parlay with other winless teams that need a win like Wash & Phi.
