Has nothing to do with pressure this team was done a few games ago, the scaped their way by Ottawa but it was clear they were finished. If anyone was too stupid to realize it at that point, two games looking completely gassed against pitt and detroit cemented the fact. Anyone idiotic enough to bet on them tonight never mind at those ludicrous odds will get exactly what they deserve should this lead hold up. Even if they somehow comeback tonight they are still done done done. Pitt and the islanders will clean their clocks in the final two games regardless. They have zero left to offer.

They have made a bunch of careless passes tonight and the last few games, they have also had countless guys fall down, it&#x27;s called fatigue, mental mistakes aka, as you say stupidity. Pressure is a given, any team in a race has some pressure to win on them, they have been playing high pressure games for about two months now. Just recently they started looking sluggish and making mental mistakes and coming out flat to start games. For two months they were winning all the races to loose pucks, the last few games they can&#x27;t win a single race to a loose puck. They were slotted to finish about 11th in the conference so they have exceeded expectations, as a fan I never thought they would be this close at this time of the season. When asked if he would be making moves at the deadline to make a run at the playoffs their GM publicly said the playoffs are not a concern right now, rebuilding the franchise is. They are not a playoff team right now overall skill wise, the fact they are this close is a credit to their efforts. If they somehow sneak in past Detroit it will be an incredible feat for this group and rookie coach.
