i seriously think versteeg was the best pick up. hes still soooooooooo young.

i know he hasnt been that great yet but i think he will start to find his own in philly.

its funny because all the poles that said who was the best pickup on deadline day never included him. He had just as many points as anyone else that was moved, yet analysts kept saying guys like Lapierre was the best pickup. Boyes is playing awesome 6 points (3G 3A) in 6 games with Buffalo

i agree boyes was prolly the best pick up for one team cus buff needed a scorer.

i just think versteeg was well worth the picks.

Salary cap...

They weren't making the playoffs and they got guys like Oshie and Berglund as free agents next year, Perron the year after...Boyes at 4 is a bit much I think. I don't think he fit into their plans anymore especially with Stewart in the mix now.
