Today I'm jumping on 2 individual plays.
First I am taking the underdog, Pittsburgh Penguins (ml) against the New York Ranger. This is a situational play, the penguins are currently on a 4 game losing streak and are currently fighting for home ice advantage in the playoffs. Rangers have also clinched the playoffs (wildcard) and are not in reach of getting home ice but do have the advantage of facing the Atlantic division if they don't jump the Penguins. Just a side note, Pitt has won their last 5 meetings in New York.
Basically Pitt is due for a win and is looking or home ice. Rangers are looking to enter the playoffs healthy and are better off planning to play against the Canadians then the Blue Jackets.
Wagering 3.00 units on the Pittsburgh Penguins (ml) for a 3.15 profit.
My second play is back on the St.Louis Blues. Once again the Blues are still in a fight for their playoff life and tonight get to face off against the last place Avalanche. St.Louis has owned Colorado this season winning 4-2, 3-0 and 5-1. Tonight i don't see anything changing.
With the Blues ML sitting at 1.36 and the Blues Regulation sitting at 1.67, to make sure our wager is worth the reward, I am jumping on the -1.5 at 2.15.
Wagering 3.00 units on the Blues (-1.5) for a 3.45 profit.
