I don't like the Avs today, i'll be on CBJ actually. As for the PL, i really like the Bruins to win here, my first 2U bet, i rarely do that. PL's i like b/c of the emtpy net chance, but i think Bruins will cover it w/o that. Ward has looked shaky to start this season

Ok guys, today i like every favourite tonight. However, doggies haven't really been biting yet, so i hope that doesn't change tonight.
LOCKED IN:
Bruins -125 and PL +230 - Thomas will be back in net. Rask had a tremendous performance against the Avs, giving up just 1 goal on 35+ shots. Thomas is a competitive guy and that game Rask had will only push him to play his absolute best. He doesn't want to lose starts to the kid just yet. This is a simple fade on Carolina, they don't look in sync yet and the biggest problem is Ward isn't in mid season form yet where he can steal some games for this team. After being blanked last game, look for the Bruins to come out flying.
CBJ -125 - The line opened at -140. Feels like they were trying to get lots of Avs
money down. I'm not one to read into lines too much when it comes to
hockey (football lines i believe tell a lot), but this sure is a fishy
one. This team has not impressed really. Mason looks garbage once again and like that amazing rookie season was just a fluke. The defense isn't solid. On the other end, Varly has been solid in his first 2 starts. However, this Avs team is young and we will see completely different teams on a night to night basis with these kids. They will be a tough team to cap against. The Jackets top line of Nash - Carter - Prospal has been solid and i look for them to lead the charge tonight. I look for Carter to net one here for his first on the season. We'll see, maybe i'm just reading into this line too much, but my instincts have been good so far, gotta stick with them.
Flyers -125 - I love what this team has done. Bryzgalov is a beast between the pipes. You get the feeling these guys will just get better every game they play. Giroux is the real deal and Jagr looks very good for his age. The Nucks have looked decent to start. Henrik may have suffered an injury, but he finished the game, so it's probably nothing serious. What did worry me though was how nobody on the team retaliated to their star player being drilled. Really? Softest bunch of guys in the league. Luongo always sucks to start off the season and it looks like the same thing this year. I think we're getting a good price on the better team. Philly's looked solid their first couple of games and no reason they
don't bring it tonight against a top team like the Nucks. They want to
prove they are for real even after dealing away their top players.

Just heard that Krejci is out for the game. Did not know this before wagering, however i like my bet even more now. The Bruins don't rely on 1 or 2 stars offensively to produce, they have a lot of depth of great talent. A lot of you may not agree with this angle, but when a star type player is out, i feel the rest of the team feels the need to play %110 to make up for the loss. They definitely look up to Krejci to produce, so look for the team to step it up tonight.
